“Amazing”

Amazing is the word to sum up this place !!! You can not get any better view or hosts Sarah and Pablo are just simply amazing !
This place is very remote, quite, and just breath taken and those peepers ( still dream and day dream about them) you are not overly far from town, but far enough away you really feel like you own a tiny peice of paradise with no worries in the world!
The studio apartment is set up just perfect very well equipped and cozy for a couple or solo.
Sarah and Pablo are simply the kindest, salt of the earth people. There to help if needed, very knowledgeable, even thou they are right above you it's like they are not there. They do own three wonderful well trained kind black labs ( so if not a dog lover maybe not they place for

you ) for us it made the 11 days in paradise feel like home ( having two dogs of our own) just having them on the property helped with that heart strings being pulled from missing my own.
I would recommend this great treehouse to anyone !
Thank you Sarah and Pablo you truly have a great thing going here !!!

The treehouse has an unique view & we enjoyed amazing sunsets on the caribbean sea lying on the cosy bed. Herr you can easily watch local birds & plants. Marihot Bay is one of our favorite places in St. Lucia. We enjoyed a quite relaxing stay and can recommend this b&b!

“Heaven on Earth”
Reviewed 29 March 2015 for a stay in February 2015

If You are looking for a place to relaxe, hideaway in a beautiful tropical setting, surrounded by lots of birds and tropical plants, with spectacular sunsets and 180 degrees views over The Caribbean Sea,and dark nights with bright stars right from your bedside, then The TreeHouse on the edge of Marigot Bay is the place to be.
On arrival we were surprised not only to find a well equiped kitchen, but also by the basket with fruits, some cold beer, a bottle of wine and enough food for the first day.
Pablo and Sarah are the most friendly and perfect hosts you ever can expect. They respected our privacy, but anticipated on our wishes and questions. Their suggestion were highly appreciated.

“Great hosts, fantastic view, natural St. Lucia”
Reviewed 24 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We've been to St. Lucia 8 times since 1990, but this is the first time we've rented instead of staying in a resort, and our first staying in/near Marigot Bay. We rented the Tree-house for a week and couldn't be happier with this decision. If you are seeking lush, natural St. Lucia beauty with an expansive sea view in a pretty rustic environment, this place is for you. It's NOT for you if you can't entertain yourself, need a beautiful beach or pool right at your doorstep, or can't tolerate mosquitoes.

Arriving: We decided not to rent a car, but probably should have as my husband had an injury that made the 20 minute walk to Marigot Bay more difficult than it is..and you SHOULD rent a car if you don't enjoy walking some steep hills or want to drive day trips around the island. However, our great hosts, Sarah and Pablo, graciously alerted us when they were driving to town and we were able to catch a lift. The treehouse can be difficult to find the first time but St. Lucia Airport Shuttle delivered us without a problem (http://stluciaairportshuttle.com).

Awaiting us was a lovely welcome package of necessities like bread, homemade jam, eggs, fruit, coffee, tea, sugar etc (for guests staying a certain number of days only, so check), and the kitchen contained a certain amount of cooking essentials like olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, .some of which may have been left by previous guests (so check with owners if you intend to go grocery shopping before arriving.)

The studio: it is exactly as in the photos-- small, rustic and no surprises. We cooked every dinner in the surprisingly well outfitted kitchen that contained more of the utensils/tools we needed than we found in a huge apartment we later stayed at in Rodney Bay. I was surprised that the kitchen faucet only supplied cold water, but I just heated water in a minute (electric kettle on the counter) when I wanted to wash dishes). The bed was comfortable enough, the pillows wonderful, and the mosquito netting necessary. You will want to watch the sunset from the lower deck everyday (cocktail in hand), and leave the louvered doors open all night to catch the breeze and witness the incredible moon (if you're lucky it will be full) and stars.

Hosts: Sarah and Pablo will do everything they can to make sure your stay is comfortable and interesting, e.g. loaned us a local phone for emergencies since I couldnt get a St. Lucian Sim card, helped find/negotiate a water taxi to another part of the island, gave us a couple of limes when there were none available in the market, and answered any questions we had.

This was definitely the forest retreat I envisioned.

“Step into another world”
Reviewed 16 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

If you are looking for somewhere over-pampered to stay in St Lucia that is slap bang in the middle of where all the banging nightlife is, then please click/tap/swipe onwards now…….

Still reading? Excellent! This means you get to know more about the amazing space that Sarah and Pablo have created. The studio apartment is nestled within Sarah’s beautiful, naturally managed garden where you get a real sense of being in the heart of the rain forest, with stunning views of the sea close by.

The accommodation is tasteful, comfortable and practical, with everything you need. The living area opens up onto a balcony from where you can sit and observe the wide variety of plant and animal live just feet away. Hummingbirds (amongst many other birds) butterflies and lizards by day. Treefrogs, bats, and too many other fascinating bugs by night. The night chorus of the tree frogs, is wonderful. Stairs lead down to an additional sun deck - and a fantastic outdoor shower, overlooking the sea. (Don’t worry, there is also a heated indoor shower in the bathroom)

Sarah and Pablo (who live in the apartment above) are a lovely couple, interesting to talk to, very knowledgeable and they can’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable.

Even though you get a sense that you are miles from anywhere, you are, in fact, only 15 mins walk from beautiful Marigot Bay, where there are some bars and restaurants. One of St Lucia’s two main roads passes close by, so you have good access to the rest of the island with it’s incredible scenery and beaches.

Although you could just about make it up the last stretch of road to The Treehouse in a normal car, I’d recommend you hire a 4x4 as it, and some of the other island’s side roads, is a bit rough.

I loved my time spent here, and can’t recommend it highly enough. Seriously - just get yourself booked in!

“Perfect place to relax”
Reviewed 10 November 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We had a perfect stay at the Treehouse! A nice and well-kept apartment with stunning view on the Caribbean sea. It has a very well equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom with everything you need.

Our hosts Sarah and Pablo were most friendly and very helpful with everything we needed, eg. beach chairs, snorkeling gear or tips for dining, shopping and information where to go. They are familiar with all local shops, restaurants, doctors etc.
At our arrival, a welcome basket with fruits, wine and the most important food for the first day was prepared. Most mentionable is the delicious german bread homemade by Pablo. (Besides he speaks perfectly german - if there is any need.)

We mostly enjoyed barbecuing (Weber Grill!) at the terrace during the beautiful sunset, breakfast among humming birds at the sun desk or listening to the rain forest after sunset. The amazing garden hosts exotic plants and animals like butterflies, headlamp beetles and lizards. We hope to be there again some day!
