Great hotel with lovely rooms and an amazing staff. Very close to best beaches and locations in Sardinia. Everything is available to clients thanks to the staff. Also, great restaurant at the hotel - MiraLuna Restaurant with highly professional staff, service and gourmet food.

Room Tip: Garden rooms with sea-view are a perfect combination of both worlds.

Great journey from Luton Airport by Easy Jet and we're greeted by the gorgeous looking receptionists & very professional (always a good sign). We were then introduced to the main Men Jimmy and Francesco who invited us to a free drink by the lovely pool area before being shown to our room which had a lovely few, everything worked and very spacious. Just missed a kettle for coffee and tea. Restaurant has very good Staff led by Pasquali but needs a different Menu now and again (maybe a special board). Our Holiday was made by the Two main Men. They put so much effort into each day, you would think it was their business and I thank them both for a great week.
We hired a Car for two days and the roads are safe and easy to navigate. In fact you get a very safe feel from this place. Then we went out on the Hotel Yacht as we didn't want to miss out on this experience. Again Captain Andrew and Luca were very knowledgeable and had a very safe Ship. Is it worth £150 each, I don't think so, but that is my opinion. Back to this lovely Hotel, we chose the place very carefully through Just Sardinia and got it spot on. The Owner is a lucky Man as he has very good Staff led by Francesco and Jimmy.
Some tips:-
I asked for a room by the pool and this is a good idea.
Free safe
Very good maid service daily
Bar prices same as England
Restaurant cost about £50 per head
Weather lovely

Great hotel! Outstanding service!
Location is close enough to the action, but away from crowds.
The hotel itself is very nicely designed, clean and well maintained.
We stayed 3 days in standard room which was nice and spacious, with a terrace on the ground floor and access to the garden.
Then we stayed 4 days in the villa - MAGICAL. If your budget permits, definitely go for the villa. Large terraces with beautiful views, lovely swimming pool, very pivate and romantic.
Overall, I would very much recommend this hotel for both couple and families.

The Villa del Golfo is a very good hotel and spa. The rooms are spacious, private villas haveh their own pools and the views of the bay are magnificent from each and every suite. Best of all, their restaurant is well respected and very capable.

This relais even offers its guests the use of the owner's 60-foot sloop with captain and first mate. We sailed the Madalenna Islands aboard this vessel and enjoyed the company of its crew, the magificent lunch they prepared and very relaxing day on the crystal clear cobalt blue waters of the region.

We rented the Villa le Saline, a beautifully converted Sardinian farmhouse with private pool, breathtaking views of the bay and within walking distance of a quiet sandy beach. Magnificent!

The villa and relais are ideally located for trips throughout the northeast of Sardinia, day trips to Corsica and the Porto Cervo region - about as long as I would like to stay at the latter. The grounds are awash with fragrant blooming flowers and the swimming pool is extrodinary - and adjacent to the bar! Bravo!!

If you're planning a trip to Sardinia's northeast, I would highly recommend this relais. You can avoid the crowds of the overly popular resort areas and have a vacation to remember.

Room Tip: Be sure to use the relais's yacht for a memorable trip through the Madalenna Islands!

Lovely hotel, superb restaurant and friendly staff. Could not have been better save for the inclement weather. It blew a gale during the first few days of our stay during which we took the yacht trip organised through the hotel. The previous day's sailing had been cancelled fortunately for the people booked on it. We had to endure an 8 hour white knuckle sail through choppy seas during most of which we were hanging on for grim death. Upon arrival at the "secluded bay" we encountered a visiting colony of Russians, discarded nappies and other unpleasant detritus. The journey back was slightly more comfortable but having paid 600 euros, we felt that the experience did not match the description of the brochure " you will discover that sailing is a comfortable pleasure" - it was not! The brochure also states " feel the breeze" - we certainly did. Perhaps economics won over safety and comfort over passengers. Our group was fit and able. I shudder to think what would have happened to an older party. The overall experience was a disappointment and a sorry reflection on the hotel which I cannot fault.

Room Tip: Most of the rooms seemed to have sea views and the layout of the hotel was excellent. It was more li...
