From the moment we arrived to the time we left my wife and I were made to feel especially welcome by Annette. Her natural ability and qualities as a host matched the true uniqueness and quality of Olivia House, which she has obviously put her soul into making it what it is.......truly wonderful!
The rooms are individually themed and are a pleasure to use due to the unique qualities and subtle touches. The breakfast experience was wonderful and puts many other establishments to shame due to quality of the food, it's presentation and the beautiful dining room setting.
This place has made a wonderful impression on us and we will definitely be back for many more visits. Thanks again Neil & Tracey xxxxx

Room Tip: All rooms are equally great!

If I could put more than 5 stars for service I would have. Annete is a very welcomming and caring host, for example, when she learnt that I had not tried Lava bread, she cooked up a little batch for breakfast. Speaking of the breakfasts, I guarantee you will be very well fed. I stayed in the French room, which is a very cosy room with an extremely elegant bath in the corner, perfect if you are spending time as a couple, or for a cosy solo retreat. Im lucky enough to be staying at Olivia House again, and i truely cannot wait!

Provided a relaxing and much needed break. Loved the uniqueness of the surroundings and the individuality of the rooms. Made to feel so welcome and at home. Breakfast amazing, beds incredibly comfortable and lots of thoughtful little touches. Would definately recommend.

What a truly amazing experience... Olivia House well deserves it's 5 Stars. Quirky rooms, a sumptuous dinning room where you eat breakfast by candlelight and classical music. It's now my special place and can't wait to return.

We were filming at Porthcawl for a week, and Olivia House was booked for the duration of my stay.

I cannot begin to explain how lucky and privileged I have felt for my experience, Annette is utterly delicious and hospitable, each room looks divine, and obviously cared for. My stay was in the Kings room, and truly i felt like royalty.

The level of my comfort made going to work each day fresh and happy, even though i longingly clung to that comfy comfy bed!

Its right by the sea, you could see it from my window, and local eateries yards away, very quiet peaceful.

You will be glad you booked Olivia House!

Room Tip: There is a variety of beautiful rooms to suit what you need, flying solo? gotchya. wrapped in the arms of a beautiful lover? perfect! totally bbfs and chat till the wee hours but like hogging all the bed? yup. got a twin room.
