Recently returned from family holiday here. Was a lovely site, caravan was nice only down side was 13.5 tog duvets (far to warm for small children) and scissors that weren't even sharp enough to cut paper.
The children's day entertainment was brilliant and staff doing it were very friendly. The children's evening entertainment was good to but could have done with starting a little earlier so the younger ones could enjoy it with out being tired.
Ate an evening meal and a breakfast at the sands restaurant, compared to Witherspoon's style food but was adequate and OK value for money.
Used both play parks which were nice my son enjoyed them, tried the duck inn to which was nice too.
Overall its a good park for a family holiday, for a quiet break or couples holiday it may not be the place to go.

Room Tip: Go for the best you can afford, we stayed in a Carmarthen caravan. Great size especially with childr...

Just returned from a four night Sun holiday at Pendine Sands. The two bedroomed caravan was basic but very clean and everything worked. Size wise, it was fine for the two of us and possibly it would be ok for up to four people. The park was quiet and well kept.

Pendine is a pretty village, with several shops, pubs and restaurants. We eat at the Spring Well Inn – food good with wonderful views across the bay.

Would visit this holiday park again.

Stayed here with family on cheap break. Took dog and so the walks on the beach were fantastic. Caravan was very basic and cold. Would not stay in same caravan again. However was told about £100 for upgrade. Lovely area around the site. Swimming pool was cold but the site had only just opened. Great for a base to explore.

We've been here over and over again and it never fails to impress me. I find Parkdean facilities a cut above the other big names - clean caravans, bed linen fully made up and they can't do enough for you. This particular location is wonderful but I'd recommend asking to be in an area of the park away from Dukes Meadow as that's the furthest from the beach so harder work with children. Nice pool, can always get a seat at evening entertainment and lovely beach cafe. Would strongly recommend for anyone who enjoys a nice caravan hol.

Stayed for 7 nights. Booked a dog friendly caravan at the cheapest price. Reception easy to find and friendly, although you could tell the receptionist had a script she used with every person checking in by rote.
Finding the caravan was fun. We were given a map and it's location was written on, but it wasn't the easiest to decipher. Couldn't tell what numbers the rows went up to. As has been noted, parking next to the basic vans is very tight.
There was dog mess on the gravel alongside the caravan, and although we had our own dog with us I always pick up after her, and whoever left this should be ashamed of themselves.
The van was quite basic but as it wasn't expensive this was understandable. Pillows and quilts were of a good standard and the bed was comfy enough.
Don't plan on using the oven for anything that needs long cooking times. Pizza took about 40 minutes. One of the rings on the hob kept blowing out for some reason also.
We didn't use the entertainment area or pool as we were in the area to attend something in another village, so I can't comment on them at all.
Local shops are very close, and fairly reasonably priced for a seaside, tourist location. There are cafes, pubs with food, and takeaways as well as a couple of convenience stores.
The beach is 5 minutes walk away and the location is gorgeous. Great walks.
All in all, if you are wanting to spend quite some time in the van, book a more expensive model. If you're using it as a base to go back and forth to then it's good value. Remember to take washing up liquid and cloth/scourer, toilet roll, cleaning cloths.

Room Tip: Book a more expensive unit if you're planning on spending some time on site.

This was a Sun holiday and we have been on quite a few. The caravan was very small and basic compared to some others we've been to. It was very clean. There was 6 of us and we only had two bedrooms. When I asked for an upgrade was told it would be £100 more. Entertainment was average. One band was very good. Others mediocre. There was very little within waking distance of site
