“Excellent sunny Sunday lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 July 2013

Had Sunday lunch outside on the terrace overlooking my favourite beach last week. It was fairly busy but we were still able to get a table outside with the dogs. Superb beef dinner with all the trimmings, only minor complaint is that we would have liked more roasties and yorkshires.

Me and my partner had a lovely evening meal here recently. The menu was varied and the staff were friendly. The meals themselves were delicious, very hot and fresh - the onion rings were amazing as were the chips!

We would come again if in the area

We were really looking forward to having a meal here. And the place looked fantastic. We were greeted by 3 members of staff who didn't welcome us & didn't make any effort at all.
Having our drink the table and floors were really dirty where people had been eating and no attempt was made to clean up for the next customers. In this impression I didn't trust the cleanliness of the kitchen etc
We quickly finished our drinks and found another restaurant to have tea!

during weekend stay at parkdean, visted the springwell on two occasions. travelled as a family, and found the pub to be lovely. my two girls loved the infamous 'Stella the cat', and we received a very warm welcome when we visited there. Had a superb sunday lunch, and despite reading previous comments, was not atall overpriced! could not fault it atall. was what should be when you go out for a meal, proper food, and very good value for money for a family of four. Many thanks to landlord and staff, we will definately return on next trip.

We stayed here for 2 nights for my Birthday. The food was excellent (portions are enormous) & service good. The bacon at breakfast is amongst the best bacon we've ever had!
The rooms are comfortable & clean, although a proper shower would have been welcome rather than one you had to hold over your head in the bath, with no shower screen.
The only other downside was that you have to walk right round the outside of the Inn to reach the rooms, there is no access from inside & on a very wet night, as it was when we arrived, you do get very wet. We were told by the Landlady that they are hoping to extend, which will include creating an indoor access point.
We would definitely go back.

Ate here last weekend while staying down the caravan so this review is just about the restaurant. The food is I would say the nicest in Pendine (not hard i know as not many places to eat but still the best there). I had the battered fish and it was huge and came with lovely home made chips. All the main meals are large portions and the service we received was great. After food we went into the bar which was very nice and had a couple of drinks. Can be very busy during the peak season and booking is sometimes needed.
