We have been staying here regularly since last September. It's ideal for visiting family in Edgware and also very easy to get to central London from the nearby station.

Mr Malik the manager and all the staff are very friendly & welcoming, always greeting us by name & taking a personal interest in us.

The rooms are basic - it's a budget hotel - but have everything needed and are always spotless.

We booked the Ibis for a single night because it was conveniently situated for the BBC Elstree Studios, where we had audience tickets for a TV show.
The room was clean but basic, the en suite bathroom was disabled friendly, not that we needed such facility ourselves. On the fifth floor it was quiet enough and we slept well.
Breakfast was plentiful, if not the best we'd ever had it was OK.
The restaurant menu did not have a wide selection so we ate out elsewhere that evening.
Car parking was in the adjacent car park. The hotel issued a free parking voucher to display on our dashboard shelf for the duration of your stay.
All in all convenient, clean and basic for a short stay.

We stayed here in April as we had to attend a funeral in North London.
The disabled room was at the end of a longish corridor and nearly impossible to use my small scooter to get into because of the acute angle. The room itself was very small. We asked for twin beds but they were jammed together so it my as well be a double. The bathroom was a good size but the toilet had no lid, there was no sink plug and no extractor fan as far as were aware. there was no shelf to stand our washing things on but as it was quite big we could put the scooter in there and so save tripping over it in the room. The plus things are that they still have phones which for disabled people is a must. Everything we requested was dealt with promptly by very polite staff and the room was very clean. The beds were hard.
The worst thing about this hotel was the parking. They have 4 disabled spaces which are constantly taken up by the staff or any other person who fancies parking there. The first day the manager moved his car and said that he parks there in order to move if anyone who is disabled asked for it, which was okay while he was on duty, and you actually thought to go inside and ask about PERK. It was the only time in the three days that we could park in the car park as all the disabled spaces were taken up by high profile cars which did not match with budget hotel guests. We were give a ticket to park in the council car park at the back of the hotel free of charge. After a heated discussion with the man at the desk, on the last afternoon we were amazed to find 4 empty disabled spaces that evening We have since resolved this matter with Head Office but I am sure that if we ever went back it would be the with the same apparent disregard for disabled guests. We will never go back.
