“On main road but little traffic noise”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

Good position, we were a bit worried when arrived as it is on the main road but the rooms are at the back, low down so only faint traffic noise in the morning.
Nice breakfast with homemade treats.
Also sold local wines which were the same price as going to the caves

We were pleasantly surprised when we by chance discovered this lovely place, conveniently situated, close to the A6, with beautiful surroundings, vineyards on the hillsides. The hostess is a wonderful person and very caring about our comfort and extremely helpful, serving a fantastic breakfast, all comfort you can ask for. The restaurant, recommended by the hostess, was an excellent choice, delicious French cuisine.

Recommended by friends, we stopped for the night going north from Provence. Basic, but very
adequate bedrooms, with a real bathroom (not a shower!!), away from the main road, with private parking conveniently close. Very friendly welcome from the owner, who had booked us in for dinner at a good restaurant across the road. Breakfast the next morning was excellent - fresh fruit, home-made pastries and cakes, french bread accompanied by home-made jams, all presented delightfully by the owner's daughter. The 'reception' area also displayed (for sale) local produce and wines. An extremely pleasant place to stay!!

My husband and I took our chances and didn't book ahead since it was off-season; we arrived in Beaune around 5 p.m. and simply inquired at the TI about available rooms. We lucked out when we were directed to Les Demoiselles, a few miles north of Beaune in the village of Ladoix-Serrigny -- the owner, Maryse was offering a discount since she still had a vacancy for that night. She welcomed us warmly and showed us to a cozy ground-level room. It was nothing fancy, but very clean and comfortable, with apples waiting on the pillows. Breakfast the next morning was a wonderful spread of various treats made by Maryse, who also provided outstanding recommendations on a restaurant for dinner (La Bussonniere), local wine tastings, and a place to stay the next two nights (Domaine Courgette, in St. Romain). It felt like visiting a friend!

My wife and I spent a thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable night at Les Demoiselles en route from London to a friend's wedding in Italy in early September 2011.
It was recommended to us by the proprietor of another B&B in the area which was full and what a splendid recommendation it turned out to be.
Maryse, our hostess, and her daughter were exceptionally hospitable and helpful.
We had a large, quiet room with ensuite bathroom at the back of the property on the same level as the swimming pool and car park which made getting bags to and from the car easy.
When we made the booking, in response to our enquiry about dinner, Maryse made a reservation at a local restaurant, "Les Terrasses de Corton" (across the road) for what proved to be a delicious meal.
Breakfast was a bountiful feast of locally sourced home made produce with bread to die for.
Overall "Les Demoiselles" is a little gem of a B&B which we highly recommend.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Les Demoiselles for one night to have a rest while driving to the south of France. I remember it very well because it was such a wonderful place; very peaceful and very clean. Les Demoiselles has three double rooms which are all newly-renovated and they all have private ensuite bathrooms (the bathrooms are especially nice; also very clean and very modern). When we were there it wasn't warm enough to swim but I noticed that Les Demoiselles has a lovely pool in a tranquil setting (within the garden, not near the road). The rooms are also on the garden-side (not road) and are nice and quiet. There was free WiFi when I stayed there. The owner is wonderful; very welcoming and kind. Breakfast was wonderful! Local honey, jam and breads etc. all from the surrounding farms and local area. It was lovely. Les Demoiselles has a shop where you can buy produce from all the locals farms and they have a particularly good selection of wines from the region.

Room Tip: The three guest bedroom are all the same size and quality.

We were directed here by tourist information as they had just rung through with a special lower price. 'Les Demoiselles' is just outside Beaune on main road to Dijon. The approach was a little off-putting as there were roadwork right outside the door. Madame runs a wine shop at the front of the house but rooms are to the rear of the property where there is easy access to car parking. There are only 3 chalet-type rooms which have their own front doors and separate bath-shower room and toilet. The rooms are charming and spotless. The weather was pretty cold and damp while we were there but the room was warm and cosy. Madame pays close attention to those little details - an rosy apple on the pillow, cotton wool balls, an iron and board; not to mention the little homemade cakes and jams she serves up for breakfast - there is too much to eat it all. There is a swimming pool in the garden too which would be lovely to take a dip in after a long hot day of siteseeing. Alas we were not that fortunately with the weather in February! Madame recommended a couple of local restaurants and the one we tried 'La Buissionere' was wonderful and run by a lovely young couple who really work hard to please their customers. I would thoroughly recommend this place.
