This hotel looked gorgeous in the brochure, but the reality was quite different. While the manor is certainly stunning and the outside views of the building impressive, the Inside is tired and old fashioned. The fitness suite was ridiculous: half the machines were out of order and the whole place could do with a coat of paint. The sauna didn't work and the jacuzzi was also a relic from the 1970s. What's more, you have to pay extra for use of the sauna and jacuzzi, and although the sauna didn't work, we were still charged for using it!
The bedroom was dark and depressing and the bathroom and toilet old fashioned. I would expect better from a Kyriad.
The meal was OK but really it was the minimum standard you would expect from this type of establishment.
Overall, great potential but needs renovating and better customer service.More
