I can recommend this restaurant. The staff is Thai and the restaurant is nicely furnished. The food is tasty maybe rather expensive but worth.

Haven't been in Thailand several times, would have accepted the food under Thai flag. But the dishes listed on the menu doesn't much the expectation. The unfriendly and lousy service either. On the other hand, the prices are really "Imperial". What a pity!

We were eating here one evening in December 2012 (between Christmas and New Year), tired after a long day of packing our appartment. We came relatively late (by Swiss standards) after 9 pm and there were only a few tables still with guests. The staff was happy to accomodate us regardless. In other places we have seen owners saying "not worth it" and closing the restaurant, this was not the case here. We were shown an extensive menu and picked two seafood dishes which arived rapidly and were well done. As stated by aprevious reviewer, this place is probably European-tuned Thai, but then again we are Europeans so it was all fine with us. The decor is what I'd expect from a Thai Restaurant in Europe, nothing I'd remember for a lifetime, but nice and appropriate. Prices are reasonable for Switzerland so we were all in all quite happy.

This restaurant located in baar which is 20 minute by bus from zug and 10 minute walk from baar train station..they served an original thai cuisine that already customize for the western people..so maybe it will taste a little bit different from food in thailand..all the restaurant in switzerland not allow the guest to smoke inside the restaurant anymore..so this retsuarant is smoke free..the restaurant do not have a lot of seat so better in winter make a reservation in advance but in summer just walk in is okay..the price is a littlr bit high but is is worth it..

I ordered take-away using the take-away menu from a previous dine-in visit. When not specifically written, I asked the server (the present manager) taking the order, if I have 3 differently cooked main meat items including vegetables. The menu claimed the meat was crispy fried or sautéed. Several of the listed menu items could no longer be ordered as the cook lacked the experience to prepare them. The manager taking the order claimed that none of the meat dishes included vegetables. The selection, beef with basil, also did not list vegetables. On the recommended crispy fried pork, it was said that this would be different than the beef with basil dish. Unfortunately, both meat dishes were the same except for a skimpy few green peppercorns: no basil in the "meat with basil" dish; vegetables in both dishes were exactly the same as well as the same sauce flavorings. Both were sautéed, and not crispy fried as described by the server/manager. When I complained, the manager claimed that the "basil" was just in flavor and not suppose to be present even though I have previously eaten this same dish with plenty of visible basil leaves included. The majority of vegetables included in both meat dishes were the average available western types: zucchini, cauliflower, broccoli and some Thai baby corn - all blandly seasoned.
As I waited to pick-up the food, the smell of cigarette smoke was also heavy in the air. This is also one restaurant that has not gone smoke free. To summarize, this restaurant does not provide the quality of food on the plate or the variety of selections it used to provide whether dining in or taking out.
