"La Almoraima"is such a beautiful hotel that it would take a truly excellent restaurant to do it justice. Alas, "La Gañania" does not do this. The staff are lovely, although strangely clad in clothes ranging from a suit and tie to washed jeans. At such a level one also does not expect to find "Mouse Duck", "Salad with crunky of ham" or "Disch of the Day" on the menu (elegantly presented in cork covers). The food, which was only slightly above average, was served on cold plates on a rocking table. In the "Ladies" there was neither loo roll nor paper towels. The room itself was so minimalist as to completely lack any form of ambience. But coffee and brandy in the delightful cloisters was very soothing!
