Immaculate en suite room with good bedding and furnishing. Small wall mounted tv. Tea and coffee making facilities in rooms. Nice toiletries. Hair dryer on request.
Breakfast room is equally immaculate. Help yourself to filter coffee, choice of fruit juices or milk. Cereals and toast plus good full cooked breakfast. Very accommodating of lactose intolerance. Really pleasant and helpful owners. This is a very well run establishment by owners who really care about making your stay the best it can be. Would definitely stay here again. At £50 per night for a double room, we thought it was excellent value for money.
Parking on street was fine. Nice local pub nearby. Central location for Padiham and short drive from/to M65.

This family-run place is incredibly warm and welcoming, and amazing value for money. The rooms are done up tastefully, each having a different style (mine had a black and white art-deco theme), and both the room and en-suite were spotlessly clean, and reasonably spacious. All mod-cons (lcd tv, free powerful wifi). I felt that I could ask the owners for anything and they would do their best to oblige. The breakfast was yummy (scrambled eggs done to perfection!). There are great takeaways on your doorstep (Indian and Chinese), as well as a few restaurants and a big supermarket. It has good road links to any of the big cities nearby (5-10 minutes to Burnley, 15 minutes to Blackburn), with lovely countryside even nearer. Having tried quite a few other B&Bs in the local area, this place is head and shoulders above the rest. Thank you Rhian and family for making me feel I had a home away from home.

After four days of walking The Bronte Way, we arrived at this guest house very wet and bedraggled. We received a warm welcome. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and the heating was on even though it was June. Perfect. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. The owners even allowed us to leave our car here whilst we walked for four days - very useful for us and very kind of them.
This is a family run guest house and we received a very friendly service from all of the three generations whom we met. The breakfast was excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

I visited Padiham last year and stayed at the Trevelyan Guest House for one week. I was a little apprehensive as its situated on the main road. However I discovered that there are actually two buildings, The one on the main road is actually some 600 years old and houses some rooms and the kitchen/dining room. Another building out the back was built not long ago but constructed of stone blocks like the old style, I got a room in the rear building and was very quiet. The room was big and cosy with nice comfortable bed and good sized ensuite. Tea and coffee making available. Parking not an issue. The english breakfast was plentifull and excellent, no pre cooked warmed rubbish here. Two good quality restaurants and plenty of take aways nearby. The hosts were warm and amiable. The gentleman who owns the place is Welsh and had a delightfull Welsh accent. Coming from Australia I love the accents. This is the only B and B in town that I could find. Used to be 2 but the other one closed last year. Avoid the pubs as they are far too noisy.

Room Tip: Back building has 3 levels. I did not notice a lift as I was on ground floor. If you dont want to ca...

Arriving wet and tired at the guest house after a walking holiday, myself and my companions were delighted to find a warm and comfortable room, plenty of hot water, comfortable beds and, on the following morning, an excellent breakfast. This is a family run establishment with a really personal and friendly feel. Whilst the exterior (the house is on a main road) is uninspiring, the rooms are well decorated, cosy, clean and comfortable. The place was a real find and I would definitely recommend it.

My partner and myself stayed at this guest house at the beginning of June 2012 as we were in padiham for my sisters wedding.
What a fantastic place it is.to stay. What i made out is that it is a family run business and the mother and daughter were really welcoming and friendly. The room was big, the bed very comfy and the place very very clean. Value for money aswell. Worked out at £100 for the weekend for the 2 of us. Fantastic guest house with a gorgeous Breakfast in the morning. definately will be going to stay again in the future. Thanks Trevelyan for making our weekend a cosy one.
