......Well I hope that a return to the Waterside is on the cards, to taste more of James' outstanding Cuisine.
Last Sunday of the month and a Roast Dinner to be chosen. Beef (Topside), Belly Pork (with crackling) or Leg of Lamb. All cooked and seasoned to perfection, with a beautiful selection of herbs. I chose the Beef on this occasion, and what a delicious, Melt-In-The-Mouth full of flavour & delight it was. Yorkshire-pud & Veg with home-made Gravy reduced at a simmer till perfect, complements your choice and mine.....All for under a tenner..... a serious rival to all those childhood memories of Mum's Sunday Lunches.
This was a Solo visit for me, but the presence of Families, dining with and without Youngsters (and not so Young - sters) all add to the ambiance and sense of Place.
