I have stayed at Ford House Farm 3 times now - for business but I am returning soon for pleasure, it is that good. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and the shower the best (and I stay in lots of B&Bs around the country). What I am really returning for though is the care and service that Mike and Val provide. Second to none. Do choose this place to stay!

Room Tip: I have only slept in the downstairs (double) room but it is very spacious and I did enjoy the view f...

Stayed 2 nights for a family 'do'. This is especially good. Everything is thought of, bottles of water, sewing kits, scissors, even small folding tables in the rooms for the laptop, big comfy sofas in the rooms, luxurious showers and bathrooms, and loads of space in the rooms. Breakfast is quality, will keep you going all day. lovely friendly people and a homely feel.
Ford house is situated in a quiet lane and overlooks a lovely valley, the gardens are beautiful, and all this 6 miles from the centre of Bradford.
Just drive slowly along the Ottley Road to spot the oddly positioned Buck Lane sign, it's high up and the lane very tiny.
We will definitely use this again if we are in the area, and would recommend it to anyone. We have stayed in many hotels and never had anything this good even when staying in so called 5 star hotels.

I just wanted to write and say what a great experience it was to stay at the Ford House Farm B&B for three nights of a business trip. My room was on the ground floor and the care that Michael and Val, the owners, took in making sure everything was in place was very evident. The room was very tastefully, even elegantly furnished and laid on with a bottle of water, every day and internet which was important for my work.

The breakfasts were well appointed and Michael was very diligent every morning in asking whether I wanted tea or coffee. I had to forego the cooked breakfast until the last morning but it was worth the wait and cheerfully served by Val that morning. The other people that were staying there were talkative and some were obviously repeat customers as they greeted Val and Michael warmly. Just outside the Breakfast Room was an extremely colourful display of plants and flowers and wonderful views of the owners' pasture and horses (20 in all, so I understand). I was also able to have a walk along the river just adjacent to the well-kept grounds.

The whole establishment was run with both care and efficiency and was one of the most pleasant experiences I've had staying in a bed and breakfast. I highly recommend the Ford House Farm as a place to stay and I just wish my wife could have been there as well. Next time!

As a solo business traveller I am used to small rooms with little space to work in the evenings. Here I had a huge room with a fabulous view of the valley and grazing horses. There were so many thoughtful touches, such as a sewing kit in the drawer, (I recently caused consternation in a five-star hotel by asking for a safety pin) and all of the fittings were to the highest standard. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, and every possible help about places to eat and traffic and travel times. I was encouraged to book by previous TripAdvisor reviews and they proved to be entirely correct.
One thought - the entrance to Buck Lane is not at all obvious. Be prepared for a sharp turn into a single-track lane between stone walls. There is an easy passing place just inside and plenty of space once you reach the property.

Cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the food and accomodation offered. Val and Michael made us so welcome and went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we required for our stay in Baildon. Certainly incredible value for money and would not hesitate to return. The views of the garden and surrounding countryside alone warrant a visit.
