Description: The Old Glen House is a welcoming country pub situated on the idyllic Baildon Moor only minutes from the Shipley glen tramway, serving a range of cask beers, wines and home cooked food. With the wood-burning stove roaring away in the winter and the vast beer garden open on the summer days it is the perfect venue all year around. Whether you call in after a walk (with or without a dog), a cycle ride or as a diner or drinker you can always be assured of a warm welcome.

Lost our e-mail booking but put things right after a phone call to check. Pleasent bar area and seperate dinning room. After a slow start the food arrived together for our party of 10+. Everyone had a pleasent meal (salmon excepted).
The limited staff looked after us as best they could.
Short walk to Shipley Tram Way down to Saltaire Park to walk off a pleasent lunch.

Thank Cooper-art

Sunday lunchtime had to wait almost an hour before food was served after order was placed.
When it eventually arrived the vegetables were barely cooked, roast potatoes had very hard centers, Yorkshire puddings looked like Aunt Bessie's.
The whole experience was very disappointing, we shall not be repeating the visit

Visited today after a nice walk around Saltaire.

Booked a table for 4, 2 adults and 2 children.

The pub was nice and was dog friendly in the bar area. Service was friendly and prompt.

We had 2 children’s roast dinners, an adults roast dinner and belly pork. Food came fairly quickly but was very bland and small portion sizes for adults.

Roast potatoes dry and over cooked, mash was lumpy and tasteless. Had to ask for extra gravy as barely got any. Paid extra for a portion of mash but was less than a scoop, it was tiny, and for £2.50! Belly pork dry and over cooked and the red cabbage was also very dry but didn’t taste too bad.

We were planning on staying for pudding but didn’t bother.

Nice place and good service but food was disappointing. Won’t be back again.

Popped in today after walking the dogs on Baildon Moor. It was really busy but the helpful barmaid found us a table. We both had the Mushroom and Brie wellington Sunday lunch and it was delicious. Food was hot, fresh and very tasty.
The atmosphere was lively, everyone was very friendly. Looking forward to going again soon.

We thought we'd pop down for the Tuesday night steak night (2 steaks & a bottle of wine for £30)
We had our dog with us and he was made to feel at home as much as us which was a wonderful start as some pubs can be a bit funny about dogs.
The food came out in good time and it was absolutely delightful!
Both steaks were chargrilled to perfection but still pink inside just as they should be, yum
Overall me and my wife couldn't rate this place and their staff enough and I'm happy to say that we'll be returning
