“Lazy Sunday afternoons are back.”
Reviewed 22 August 2014

This a lovely park and a great blast from the past. We spent a Sunday afternoon there watching a local cricket match and listening to a band playing. Families were enjoying a low cost day out and the atmosphere was just great.

“Lovely little park”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

The park is out of the way, a little way from the road with a large car park to keep the children from the edge of the road and is almost all built on sand to make the ground softer for the children to play on. The toys, games and activities are varied from other parks making it a little more interesting for the children to visit. The park is large and open plan to ensure visibility of children at all times. The park is also good for children with additional needs, particularly those on with autism spectrum disorder. May be difficult with wheelchair but if child has some mobility then the park is perfect.

My only concern about the park is how close it is to the skate park, children are constantly wanting to run across the larger boys and girls skating or biking across the ramps and the older children do not stop to keep the smaller children safe.

Great park, spend hours here. The kids love getting an ice cream from the boat on canal, and shops directly over road from play area which is good for if you get thirsty or peckish, we have had fish and chips last 2 visits from over the road.

Wish toilets were nearer though, they are some public toilets in saltaire villiage and also down where the half moon cafe is but its a pain when in the play area and one of the kids decided they need it and have to trail them all there

“Nice well kept park”

Lovely well kept clean park ( there were a few dogs not on leads - this should be addressed to keep it clean for everyone), lovely for a stroll around, very pretty.
