We stayed here for two nights from the 28th June and found the hotel to be very clean and managed by friendly, helpful staff. The room is slightly larger than some other Premier Inn that we have stayed in. No problems with sound from other rooms. Excellent shower with a powerful head, which makes a change. We had breakfast next door in the Brewers Fayre on two occasions with no complaints. However, we decided to use a local Indian restaurant one night and a local pub the next with both in walking distance. Would I stay here again....... Yes

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights from 11th June 2014. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was spotless and very nice. Had breakfast next door at the pub which is a Brewers Fayre and it was excellent with very good choices and friendly service.

Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would certainly stay here again.

I'm staying here at the moment, hotel is lovely and clean and some of the rooms have probably been recently refurbished. I have no complaints about the hotel what so ever.

But... the restaurant is awful, if its a hot day the smell coming from the toilets as you walk in the front door of the restaurant is not a good start, its been better since its been cooler.

Unfortunately it takes a long time to be served / plates cleared away (and its not busy), and we weren't told on the first night you have to order food from the bar rather than the order being taken (fair enough no problem with that, but would have been nice to have been told). Steak was tough, scampi over cooked, and food luke warm, wrong dessert given, but this morning was the classic. My mother and father asked for poached eggs with breakfast but was given what looked like griddled/fried eggs so we complained but only to have argued back with us they were poached but probably with vinegar, sorry but if you don't know the difference on how to poach an egg where do you go from here. In the end my parents left their breakfasts as they went to bring out just the new eggs which by now the rest of the breakfast was cold. They have then since had two more arguments/heated discussions with the duty manager and manager. Whereby the manager has suggested that perhaps the 'chef' has been putting them on the griddle to keep them warm (in my eyes plain to see/work out but not it seems to the rest of the restaurant staff!)We have 2 more nights in the hotel and doubt I will be eating in the restaurant again breakfast or dinner unless things drastically improve!

Come on Premier Inn up the game and sort out this restaurant, I've stayed in many Premier Inns in the last 5 years and this has to be the worst restaurant.

Must say though there is one person in the resturant who is really helpful and friendly and she sorted out the dinner from our first night by organising a meal the second night FOC for my parents which was good and the food the second night was fine, but she's was not here this morning to speak with.

Room Tip: I'm sure they are all the same

The room we stayed in was a in recently opened part of the hotel.
The room window does not open to allow fresh air to enter room so it quickly becomes hot and stuffy. The air con is supposed allow you to set the room temperature at a preferred level (17 - 22c).....it doesn't work as it should and the air temperature in the room becomes very uncomfortable.

Some rooms do have opening windows. I suggest you ask for one of these rooms if you decide to stay.

Apart from the above the hotel is modern, clean and the staff are very helpful.

First time at this Premier Inn, stayed at about 20 others in the UK so far. This one isn't in the usual style, I am guessing this is as to fit in with the area and landscape of the Southern edge of the Yorkshire Dales. It isn't particularly one that I would want to stay at again as someone in the design stage thought it would be a good idea to put a large children's play area outside the guest rooms. Ummm, not great when you want a quiet evening in your room after enjoying a summer's day. Once again, a twin room is a double bed with a smaller, less desirable single bed - why Premier Inn doesn't seem to grasp the concept of 'twin' in many of their hotels is beyond me. Staff not particularly friendly here, although those in the Brewer's Fayre next door seemed to make more effort. The room wasn't bad, but not that great either. It was nice to see a large flat screen TV on the wall - only to find it offered just 4 channels and that didn't even include Channel 4! I think this Premier Inn is quite pricey, obviously due to its locality to the Yorkshire Dales, but this is not reflected in the standard, which is below average for a Premier Inn. I cannot recall seeing the familiar 'Quiet Time' stickers on doors that were rolled out by Premier Inn last year, but I may be mistaken. Not that I think that would have made much difference to the noisy guests that included those that rolled in around 1am despite being told that 'its very quiet here'.

We stayed at this hotel as the Rendezvous in Skipton was fully booked. We were a party of 6 males staying for a golf weekend.
I have stayed at other Premier inns but this was by far the best one we've stayed in.
Room had a double and single bed which we had two nights good sleep in.There is no noise. Room is nicely decorated with neutral walls and white ceiling.
It has a nice big flat screen telly. Remote was a bit temperamental and had to be banged a couple of times to get the batteries to work as the battery compartment is screwed on. The guide also did not show choice of programmes immediately.
The bathroom was really nice with a bath if needed, although we just used the shower. Plenty of hot water.
Only get two tea bags with the kettle so if you like a few drinkd you'll have to bring your own.
Next door is the anchor restaurant where we had breakfast, its from 7am till 11am . We had full English both days. You get two of everything, its very hot and very tasty. You are not kept waiting long. You also get a selection of cereals and toast.
The one disadvantage is that it is 8 miles out of skipton , so too far to walk, and taxi fare is £15.
There is a nice big car park which is free.
I would stay here again.
