We stayed here for the first three nights of our holiday. The family room was very stuffy and warm and we couldn't control the thermostat, nor open the window. The staff was very helpful, unlocking the window for us and loaning us a fan for the room, even during the night. When we had any question about destinations, the staff quickly 'googled' it and printed out directions for us. We only ate breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, which was adequate. We had no problems with wifi, including an iPad, iPhone and a Windows laptop. Too bad a chain like Premier Inn only gives 30 minutes for free/day. It's 2014! Wi-fi should be complimentary.

Conveniently near Skipton and Malham, the starting point of great day hikes.

Fantastic time around skipton assisted by our stay at the Premier Inn (and Brewers Fayre attached) in Gargrave - always first class!
The attached restaurant for Breakfasts and lunch/dinner where superb (the breakfast was delicious with so much choice). We had lovely weather on our recent stay and were happy that our enjoyment was enhanced by sitting outside enjoying a nice glass of wine whilst watching my daughter happily playing in the play area - all was very happy (hic)?!?!?

The hotel is a fairly new built Premier Inn with all the rooms being freshly built so have a large TV and HDMI plugs etc. Overall the hotel is a normal Premier Inn and once you have been to on you have been to them all. Though saying that if I was going back I would visit the same hotel.

As others have mentioned the phone signal is pretty rubbish - I can only get a bar in the car park.

The bit that lets it down is the Restaurant, the food is awful! Had Macaroni Cheese - which equates to cheese sauce shoved on some pasta. There are plenty of nicer restaurants in town, which are much nicer to visit.

Booked online and arrived at what looked liked a dirty and unkempt pub (Anchor) next to the main road. The roadside elevation featured broken guttering, weeds growing on the roof and guttering, filthy window frames and shabby surfaces. Whole place needs a visit from management with an eye for detail. After inspecting the filthy exterior - Suddenly I lost my appetite.

To the rear of the pub, the Premier Inn accommodation unit was absolutely immaculate and the staff were first class - but we chose to eat elsewhere.

Quite how Premier Inn/Whitbread management can drive past this shabby property and not take immediate action to intervene worries me. Someone at management level needs to wake up and get a grip.

Ok place to sleep - great location, very quite. DONT eat here at all - really don't even think about it. Main prob is - No Mobile coverage ( ok at the back of the car park) WiFi only works with pads and phones NOT Windows, and before you ask I am a geek nothing wrong with my laptop) Less than 10 tv channels, and NO RADIO 1 2 3 or most importantly 4, I paid £6 to listen for radio 4 - I can't live without it

Just stayed three nights at this hotel. Ideally situated to explore the Dales. We stayed in the brand new part of the hotel which was very nice. No complaints regarding the hotel but the Brewers Fare next door lets them down. It could have been nice, but it could have been cleaner. The food wasn't too bad, but the general cleanliness lets them down.

We found the staff very friendly, the hotel room spotlessly clean, the surroundings breath taking and the breakfast to die for! The receptionists were very knowledgeable and assisted us the morning following our stay, going the extra mile so we could get home swiftly. We recommend and will be returning as soon as we can!
