The beach itself is nicely set out, it's long. It's a mix of shingle and sand but mostly sand. There are a couple (but not many) restaurants on the beach which means going for lunch is sometimes a bit tricky as you're competing with a beachload of people and a small number of eateries. The sea itself is not too bad but there are better, cleaner seas nearby. The worst thing about this beach is that the view to the left is awful... there seems to be some sort of factory or port but it's not at all pleasing to the eye so you keep looking to your right to pretend it's not there! There is a lovely childrens park halfway up the beach however which our toddler enjoyed a lot and it's shaded so perfect for some getting out of the sun restbite.
