Last October I wrote a glowing account on TripAdvisor of how great this hotel was. However, ‘All Good Things Come To An End’. The hotels air-conditioning (AC) policy has changed since then. If I had known this I would never have booked the holiday as my first three priorities are: Location, flight times and AC.
The holiday was advertised as a room with AC. However, the AC only comes on when the outside temperature reaches 24C (which it never did) despite the fact that I paid for it. The AC never worked all week. This means we spent warm stuffy nights trying to sleep. You cannot leave the balcony doors open at night (as suggested by reception) because you lose the sound -proofing and get bitten by mosquitoes. I feel that I was mis-sold this holiday and they also have the audacity to relieve you of £40 ‘environment tax’ just so you can set foot on the island.
Will I return? No! As they say ‘All Good Things Come To An End’.More
