“A fabulous place to indulge in Burgundy.”
Reviewed 20 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The Mews was the ideal place to stay in the heart of Burgundy Right in the centre of the sleepy wine village of Puligny Montrachet, within 200 metres of 3 great restaurants,an excellent bakery and a bar/store and a pleasant stroll to some of the worlds greatest vineyards it was an inspired choice.
The Mews is tucked in between two larger properties. It comprises a downstairs living room/kitchen and upstairs bedroom and bathroom. Quality towels and bathrobes. Plenty of room to relax on the comfortable couches or at the table outdoors.
Lots of local information and brochures are provided and a list of favourite restaurants and wineries is very helpful.
A welcome bottle of Cremant de Bourgonne is a nice touch as is the Nespresso machine and ample pods .Beautifully renovated and as fresh as a daisy it is a perfect choice in the heart of the Cote de Beaune vineyaerd. Make sure you take a walk through the famous vineyards of Puligny Montrachet ,Chassagne Montrachet and Meursault, all on your doorstep.
We had a family of 4 adults and 2 kids nex tdoor at the Chevalier who seemed equally happy with their choice of accommodation.

Set on one of the 2 main squares of Puligny Montrachet with the bakers, the grocers and several excellent restaurants (including Le Montrachet within close walking distance).Ten minutes walk takes you to the Grand Cru vineyards of the village.
The flat is very well appointed having been recently renovated. Everything works.
A very convenient place from which to explore the Cote de Beaune and its hinterland.

“The Mews- Village Charm with all modern conveniences”

Although the owners of this comfortable one bedroom cottage in beautiful Puligny Montrachet are winemakers in Australia , you can see from the way they have renovated and furnished this accomodation , they have a passion for the Burgundy region.
Their informative website accurately outlines all the modern kitchen, dining, entertainment and general facilities.
Moreover they provide one of the best property and local information manuals we have come across., which not only includes things to see and do, but also a list of their favourite winemakers. This made the job of planning our week here very easy.
The fully equipped kitchen enabled us to prepare some home cooked meals to have with our recent wine purchases. The position of the Mews is perfect. It overlooks the village square with plenty of free parking spaces and less than 3 minutes walk to a number of places to eat, from a humble cafe to a Michelin star restaurant
The owners have very friendly and capable managers in Burgundy who speak English and French. They were very happy to answer any queries.
It was a nice touch to have a bottle of Cremant de Bourgogne in the fridge for our arrival.
The Mews is a great base for visiting the Burgundy region.
