We visited Hotel Tahiti for a week commencing September 26th.
Our previous visit to the island was some 30 years ago, and obviously we noticed lots of changes, but the beaches are still great, and kept very clean.
Es Pujuis is unrecognisable and very developed and, frankly, I would not go there ‘in season’. It’s obvious from the number of motorbikes parked outside the hire shops that the place would be buzzing, quite literally, in July and August!
Mercifully the hotel is on the quieter edge of the town and is a very efficiently run establishment. The clientele were mainly German with a sprinkling from other EU countries and when we were there there were no children around. The rooms are clean and well fitted, and come with the bonus of free soft drinks, replenished every day, tea and coffee making tray, and a free safe. We were instantly moved when we asked for a first-floor room with a view, having been allocated a ground-floor room overlooking the hotel side entrance. The ‘brunch’ is as good as everyone claims, and we really did not need any food until the evening. You can borrow beach and pool towels free on request.
The only problem we found was that the beautiful pool area, with plenty of shaded and comfortable sun beds, suffers from the smelly diesel fumes from the not-very-high hotel chimney when the wind is in the wrong direction – very unfortunate, and I'm surprised that no-one else has commented on this.
Food everywhere was very pricey compared to the UK. We enjoyed La Palmera and Chez Fred restaurants and also ate take-aways on our balcony on a couple of occasions.
We woulkd not hesitate to go there again.

Efficient and fast transfer with Thomsons to the small island of Formentera. We were met by reps at every point along the way including Paul at Ibiza port and the Formentera rep Lesley, who knew everything you needed to know about the island.
We arrived at the hotel, very pleased with first impressions, reception girls spoke english, italian, spanish and more. Hotel was spotless, very modern and spacious for a hotel of 70 or so rooms. Breakfast was great served from 08:00-12:00, hot and cold options. Coffee could have been better but you can order an espresso or a cafe latte. The rooms are kept spotless, fab cleaning ladies. Hotel provides towels that you can use for the pool and beach. The beach is only 5m away, important to note that a sunbed is €6 per day and so is an umbrella, can add up over a weeks stay but why not spoil yourself you are on holiday!
Definitely worth it to hire a scooter or car. We hired a scooter for 3 days and managed to explore the whole island, we used the scooter to take us to the most amazing beach in the med, you would think you were in the caribbean! The beach is called Illetes, go early to get a sunbed and take your own lunch as the restaurants are not cheap.
Restaurants to go to in Es Pujols: La Cava (Seafood & Meat), Chez Fred (cheap and cheerful), Caminito, Mini Bar.
Overall a lovely holiday to relax, not much else to do apart from sunbathe, but that was just what we needed.

Just got back from a week's stay at this hotel and loved it. It is very chic and trendy, especially the Reception area, bar area and breakfast room. It is a little bit of South Beach, Miami on a little island of Spain. Would recommend the hotel whole heartedly.

This is wonderful, modern and beautiful hotel. With perfect swimming pool, where i used to swim every morning, close to the beach, to the party places in Es Pojuol. And what is more then incredible is breakfest with the glass of champaign, if will go there will return to this hotel.

we have spent in Formentera four night and we have stayed in Hotel Tahiti in Es Pujols.
The hotel is very nice and it is true that it could be closer to a 4* than a 3*. For sure service and staff are even closer to a 5* hotel. They give you any recommendation you could need in the island, they make any reservation you could need (restaurants, car, motorcycle, etc, etc), and in general they solve any problem you could have.
The hotel is correct, rooms are clean (we just had an "small" problem with ants in our room that was not really serious), sleeping is more than ok, breakfast is nice, etc, etc.
For sure we would recommend this hotel, ad it is for sure one of the best (if not the best) hotel in the island.
