“Fantastic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 August 2014

We stayed in this fantastic B&B to attend a friends wedding at a local venue. My husband got in touch earlier with Ivan as we needed early access. Ivan and Toni couldn't have been more helpful.
Fridge was full of cheese, meats and beer!! For a self service breakfast.
There was a bedroom, bathroom and sitting area. If this was a hotel it would have been called a suite and cost a fortune.
Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed one night. Everything seems to have been covered from fresh strawberries in the fridge to a multitude of toiletries in the bathroom. The contents of the fridge were fantastic, including the legendary two bottles of beer! It goes without saying that the whole place was spotless and the bed was very comfortable.
We would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in this area.

As other reviews have noted, this more than just a B&B. I was welcomed by Ivan on arrival and shown round. The place does literally have everything you need, and more besides.
It is also ideally located for exploring Llantwit, and is a short walk from the railway station (I came by train).

We were expecting just a typical bedroom B&B, but what a delight to discover we had a little apartment! A lounge, bedroom and bathroom! Added to that, they supplied us with a ref, microwave and kettle and the ref was fully stocked with deli meats, cheeses, juices, milk, veg, fruit, and even a couple of beers! They also had breads, cereals, butter, jams and everything we could possibly want for breakfast, and even lunch! Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful.
This was a wonderful weekend!!

Wow what a find! This is more an apartment than a typical b and b. There is a delightful sitting room, with two settees, TV, CD player, CD's and DVD's and books. At one side of the sitting room is a small kitchen area with a microwave, with cutlery and plates etc. The most remarkable bit are the goodies, every kind of tea/coffee and hot chocolate, a bread bin groaning with cakes and delicious bread. A massive choice of breakfast cereals. In the fridge various fruit juices, yoghurt, prawns, pate, various cheeses, even two bottles of lager!!!!! The b and b is self catering, so you make your own breakfast from this wonderful selection of offerings. The bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, both very comfortable. The bathroom has a huge selection of toiletries and a shower over bath. Thank you Ivan and Toni for making us very welcome, a home from home indeed!!!

This B&B is very easy to find with easy access to Llantwit Major and the lovely village of Cowbridge. The accommodation is attached to the main house but has its own entrance and parking. There is a living room with kitchenette, bedroom with a double and single bed and a bathroom with shower over bath. There are two tv's, a dvd player and an audio music system as well as films, books and games provided. Although this accommodation is not ultra modern, it is cosy and comfortable and was wonderfully warm and welcoming on a wet and windy night. Ivan, the owner, has put a great deal of thought and effort into providing all sorts of little treats that go a long way beyond what is normally provided. I booked by ringing Ivan direct and would encourage anyone else to do the same, he was extremely helpful and friendly and put my mind at rest as a single, female traveller.

It was getting late and we had travelled for miles and not finding any Place to stay for the night when we saw the sign B&B. It felt like coming home when we entered the livingroom and the bedroom Ivan showed us. We decided to stay and discovered more and more of small surprises. Sweets, toothbrushes, biscuites, welsh cakes, bread, buns etc!! And Cold beer! My fridge at home looks poor in comparison! Ivan was helpful and helped us to find the Doctor Who Experiance and we decided to stay one more night. Thank you Ivan!

PS We followed your advices and enjoyed Harlech Castle and also have great pics from the trainstation with the long name. Llandudno was also nice.

Best regards Olle Viktorsson, Margareta and Elin from Örebro, Sweden
