We found this Guest House through a recomendation. The owner, a skilled photographer, and his wife run an attractive, clean and comfortable B & B. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. We were pleased with everything about it.

We spent two nights at Wayfarers. It was really nice and we are glad, that we found this beautiful B&B. Chris and Maura were very nice and helpful. The room was quiet, clean and beautiful and the breakfast very delicious. If you ever come to Sabie - you should really visit the Wayfarers!!! I especially liked the wonderful animal pictures Chris took in the Kruger Park!!!

We had a really enjoyable 3 night stay at Wayfarers. We were welcomed by Morag and Chris who were excellent hosts and very helpful. Room was comfortable and spacious and the lounge was ideal if you wanted to relax. All in all a great stay and I would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Traveled from JoBurg enroute to Kruger and found Wayfarers online. Glad we stopped here!! It took about 5 hours from JNB airport to Sabie and we were welcomed by the host Chris. Spotless accomodation with very large rooms at a good price. Chris recommended a good restaurant (Woodsmen?) just a short drive from his place which had excellent food at very good prices. Sabie is a nice town with lots to do and is very scenic and touristy. The wayfarer has a nice lounge were we watched World Cup matches on the big screen and indulged in the honor bar (Very fair prices). Breakfast was excellent and I can't say enough about Chris and his family, very attentive and full of knowledge of the area. He also has a great photo collection available for sale. A perfect stopover if your traveling from JNB to Kruger. We'll be back!!!

The location is quiet with a pleasant area in the garden to sit out, with a part view over the valley. The large lounge, with TV, games and library would be excellent if the weather was poor. Sabie has a number of places to eat out, all a little way from the property and within walking distance if you are active. The lane is not well lit though it feels a safe place to walk - unlike some places in SA.-The service is very attentive with lots of advice from your hosts available.
The house is filled with animal photos- you cannot forget you are close to the Kruger Park!
The house is very clean and homely though the fixtures in some of the rooms and bathrooms are a little dated, they are however all functional and clean.
Breakfast shows a good choice with freshly cooked "full English" available. This would suit the most traditional Brit!
If touring the area and the park, this would be a good place to relax after those early morning starts to get into the park at dawn.
If you share an interest in MG sports cars, this is the place to stay and compare notes with your hosts! For the rest of us, a warm welcome and comfortable accomodation will be available!

My daughter and I stayed at the Wayfarers on our way from Kruger National Park to the airport in Johannesburg. We had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, with private baths and a refrigerator in the room. Guests also have access to a sitting room (not shared with hosts), and a beautiful garden. There are drinks available for purchase at a reasonable price, and after a day of driving and sightseeing, we enjoyed sitting in the garden relaxing with a beer. After dinner at a restaurant only a few blocks away, we enjoyed conversation with the owners, who were a great source of information about the area. Breakfast was lovely too.
