“Quirky, sociable and relaxing - the perfect base for exploring Bozcaaada”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 June 2010

My husband and I stayed in Rengigul for 4 nights in June 2010 and we had a wonderful time. The guest house is located in Bozcaada town, close to lots of great restaurants and cafes and just a 5 minute drive from the best beaches. June was the perfect month to visit Bozcaada, as it felt as though the island was just getting ready for the holiday season but still fairly quiet and there weren't too many people on the beach. The Rengigul guesthouse was one of the most interesting guesthouses/hotels we've ever stayed in. The old house is full of art and antiques, and breakfast is served on a long wooden table in a lovely walled garden. Our room was actually in a separate house just round the corner, but it was equally as interesting and we still went round to the house every day for breakfast. Breakfast was definitely the highlight of our stay in Rengigul. We enjoyed the chance to socialise with the other guests and tuck into a huge feast every day - i think i tried more than 10 different homemade jams while we were there! Ozcan (owner) always joined us and made breakfast feel like a big family meal. We would definitely go back to this guesthouse and to Bozcaada, which is still surprisingly tranquil and unspolit, in spite of its beauty and buzzing night scene.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and it was one of the best places we've ever stayed. The house itself comprises six bedrooms, Huge dining room area, lovely garden and about a million pieces of art and trinkets spread around. The owner Ozcan is a very friendly and helpful lady. A real home from home and we'd recommend it to anyone visting Bozcaada.

After a bussy and tiring winter 4 days in Bozcaada at Rengigul B&B was totally a therapy in a sense that we felt full of happiness and detoxed.. Ms. Ozcan and her fantastic B&B is a place one must stay to experience.. Not to forget the breakfast table is uncomparabable to any breakfast anywhere.. Just marvellous.
About Bozcaada we found habitat at the best untouched condition.. Singing birds and Island crows are amazing..
Late spring and early autumn is the best time to avoid summer invaders to the island.. Beaches are pure sand and trekking along the vineyards is great..

We visited this beautiful island after a more or less uninteresting drive down south from Istanbul .We took the ferry from mainland Turkey to Bandirma, a nice sail on a flat sea.
Our stay on the island of Bozcaada would not have been the same witout
the help from our wonderful hostess from the b&b Rengigül...
Ozcan, she was an unending source of information about the island and its people, such frendliness and patience is rear to find ......... thank you again for your hospitality .........We love Turkey and its people
