My husband and I stayed in Rengigul for 4 nights in June 2010 and we had a wonderful time. The guest house is located in Bozcaada town, close to lots of great restaurants and cafes and just a 5 minute drive from the best beaches. June was the perfect month to visit Bozcaada, as it felt as though the island was just getting ready for the holiday season but still fairly quiet and there weren't too many people on the beach. The Rengigul guesthouse was one of the most interesting guesthouses/hotels we've ever stayed in. The old house is full of art and antiques, and breakfast is served on a long wooden table in a lovely walled garden. Our room was actually in a separate house just round the corner, but it was equally as interesting and we still went round to the house every day for breakfast. Breakfast was definitely the highlight of our stay in Rengigul. We enjoyed the chance to socialise with the other guests and tuck into a huge feast every day - i think i tried more than 10 different homemade jams while we were there! Ozcan (owner) always joined us and made breakfast feel like a big family meal. We would definitely go back to this guesthouse and to Bozcaada, which is still surprisingly tranquil and unspolit, in spite of its beauty and buzzing night scene.
