Fantastic we stayed 5 nights it was big, clean, spacious and the staff are lovely. Our room was made up of 2 rooms , 2 t.v's, bathroom, fridge, safe and walk in wardrobe. Very good locality 5 min walk to the shops and 2 min walk to Feltham station.
We had 2 days out in London we bought a family railcard so it only cost us £5.90 an adult £2.oo child for a day pass all trains, tubes and buses.
The breakfast was very good chef was lovely and Georgi remembered us every morning and was very attentive.
The concierge department are very helpful and nothing at all was a problem.
We can't wait to go back

Room Tip: Our room was a Family Room more like a Suite it had separated sleeping area excellent and was a corn...

Booked st giles as was on a day trip to lego land. On arrivel I was pleasantly surprised, large secure car park and nice reception area. 3 lifts. Our room was a family room and it was massive, it had seperate sleeping area so it was nice if kids wanted to sleep while you stayed up. Good bathroom with shower, soaps shampoos and clean towels included too. Hotel is right on the flight path and also next to railway lines but amazingly hardly any noise heard. I would have gave it a 5 star if it was slightly cleaner, hairs in bath, walls and carpet a little dirty. Buffet breakfast was lovely and the staff working in the restaurant were really polite and friendly. Would definatley return. It is only a budget hotel and does the job very well xx

Just stopped in the st giles hotel for a night 3-4th august 2014. Was concerned from reading the reviews that this would be faulty towers but thankfully not. A lot of the negative reviews that I read we're negative due to bookings not being know or missed transfers. I can't comment or argue these issues as I was just visiting lego land.

The room was fine, very large for a family room on the 10th floor. Could do with a touch of paint but no issues. Had breakfast, this was not so good, I think the bacon was most likely reheated and it was a bit of a free for all. Would not recommends this.

The St Giles hotel is conveniently located for good access to Heathrow airport or quick rail links into Central London. Being a big hotel, rooms on higher floors are complimented by the views over the area. (I could see central london's BT tower, the shard etc from my room)

Unfortunately the decor of the hotel is dated with cracked tiles, stained grout and tatty carpets and bedding.

The hotel is clean with rooms containing Tea/Coffee making facilities, hairdryer and fridge.

Staff at reception are friendly however I asked for an Iron and had to wait for an hour before someone brought it to my room.

Unfortunately I did not get a goods night sleep as the mattress had seen better days and myself and partner could feel every toss and turn as they occured. Also a big issue for me was that the air conditioning was not working.

If you want a place for location this place is fine but be warned you might not sleep much.

Room Tip: Higher floor for nice views

I stopped here with a student group in July. Been here before to this poorly revamped office block adjacent to a noisy railway line. It has not improved. Reception staffed by unhelpful staff. Group should have been allocated rooms on one or at the most 2 floors so security monitoring could be effective. Scattered over 10 floors and the answer to my question as to why was ... we're full!! Tourists everywhere, reception awash with Far eastern coach parties. The upper floor full of an Islamic group praying. It was chaos. The lifts were not coping with the human tide, students could not get out of reception quick enough to access rooms on floor 10!!Then comes the fun part.... Try to park a coach. Room for 2 or 3 if cars are not parked badly. As this is London that's a bit of a joke. So we had to abandon ours right outside reception
The St Giles Hotel is not one of the best looking. Even from the outside you could see the decay and its previous existence as a shabby office block..
Wifi is not free which in 2014 should be everywhere it is in more accesible hotels.paid - 10GBP/1day, 20GBP/7 days
The rooms were ok. Bathrooms were fine, which is my way to see if the hotel is good or not. The down side is that the so called toiletries are little sachet type shampoo and shower gel like you get in a Blackpool (cheap) boarding house.
Breakfast was a poor continental option for the group which was over monitored by the restaurant greeter- checking you didn't steal a bit of slimy scrambled egg. There was bread plastic cheese and something that was supposed to be ham I think, for drink- water, coffee and juice. The group were told to come at a certain time and on arriving found little room as other guests were still finishing off their food. For its size the restaurant is inadequate.
Overall worth (just) a one night stay I have stayed in better and just as reasonably priced hotels in the Heathrow and Gatwick areas which welcome groups more openly.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the church are noisy, as trains blow their whistle when approaching the station.

Room Tip: Remember the railway line to the rear- its noisy

I stayed one night at this hotel with Newmarket Holidays, on the Hampton Court flower show trip, and was pleasantly surprised! Certainly the exterior was shabby and a few unkempt looking youths hanging around didn't help but they disappeared when the coach arrived. Our Tour manager went in to alert the staff and there was no delay on getting our keys. I had checked "single room" on the web and it said "compact and cosy" but in fact mine was a double and a good size. There was tea and coffee, TV, a safe, hairdryer and extra pillow. The bed was comfortable. There was a bath and shower and good towels, and basic toiletries. In marked contrast to the other hotel I reported on recently, the restaurant was very good, the staff were pleasant and efficient. it was very busy -which is a good indication!. It was possible to get a small (125ml) glass of wine, as well as larger sizes. Three if us ate together with different choices, and all dishes were freshly cooked, and very generous portions. Pizzas are of a size for sharing as is the side salad unless taken as a main. In the morning the restaurant was crowded but by sensible arrangement the coach parties were given different times for breakfast. It was styled "continental" but as well as the various types of bread there was fruit and cold meat.
Altogether this was a good experience - which seems different from other reports but I would be happy to stay there again.

Room Tip: Mine was fine - 9th floor and there is a lift.
