Great place for drinks, Back round music takes you some where good, Can get a bit roudy. I have yet to have anything to eat there that I like or is made to my taste. Every year I try to eat something there and every year I fail. But Great beer and wine, and cocktails too for those who drink them

Spectacular view over the sea, robben island, quite a lively summer vibe. However, the food, as they attempt to be african / african fusion is quite pathetic. Servings are minute and the chefs command of spice dubious. I had the worse vegetarian tagine ever, four slivers of veg on a bed of couscous with a rim of tamato sauce.

Setting is great but the the clain to africanness is sham.

Good day Fffffff2014

I sincerely apologise for the poor experience you had with us on Sunday. The moyo group is under new management and we are happy to announce we launched our new menu on Monday, which definitely has a modern African flavor to every meal. We are particularly proud of the new menu, and extend an invitation to come try it out.

We sincerely hope that you are willing to give us another chance as we would love your feedback on the changes.

Kind regards,
The moyo team

Just a combination of everything that works are here. The scenery, the people, the food, drinks, service etcetera. Sundowners a must. Great place and stunning atmosphere with a dash of Africa. I can really recommend it!

Still at loss. from the heady heights when I first visited this brand at Spier, there seems to have been a downward spiral. This site was worse than their one in the Waterfront. Food is atrocious, drinks as bad and the multitude of staff lacking any direction or training. And then there was some DJ thing happening at a pool I later found was attached to the restaurant. Think of the worst Jersey Shore episode, add a terrible beach club and no, you aren't there yet. it was ghastly. Anyway...I should have stuck to lost for words.
