Have been visiting Delfines for a number of years and the fish is always excellent. This time I passed on the usual fish in salt and had Fried Turbot - it was absolutely delicious. Always comes served with vegetables which isn't always the case in this part of Spain. Staff are really welcoming and can deal with the idiot Brits who don't speak much Spanish. Because its not in the port it has a much more authentic feel than some of the restaurants in Puerto de la Duquesa so if you want to feel that you are seeing the real Spain then this is worth a walk along the beach.

Booked this one afternoon after stopping to view the menu which had a fine selection of fish and found the staff helpful . I viewed the upstairs eating area which had nice views of the surrounding coast, there is also a ground floor eating area which seemed pleasant and an outside eating area . Staff attentive and professional.

Was a bit skeptic when entering the restaurant. Entrance from the street on the backside and was not welcomed by any waiter (arrived 8 PM and most Spanish people go out much later). Got a table on the terrace on the second floor with great ocean view. No elevator to this floor, a bit complicated to carry a sleeping daughter in the trolly but made it). Had calamares (fried octopus) for starter and then me and my wife shared two mains. Had swordfish with fresh grilled vegetables and as second tuna in a ceramic bowl, mixed with potatoes and onion all soaked in fantastic oil. Was really really good! To this a nice bottle of wine. For dessert we shared a Andalusian style creme caramel. Great staff (the you guy was probably training) and good prices too. All together we paid 55 EUR. Worth the visit!

In a town full of 'anglicised' restaurants we really wanted something Spanish, and happily, we found it.
The food was great; lobster (we had to choose or own for execution) and Red prawns, which were HUGE. All perfectly cooked. The service was also good. Not too intrusive. Even though we had the two most expensive things on the menu, we got 50% off with booking though trip advisor... Perfect! Should also point out the Gewurtztraminer was outstanding. Excellent wine at a good price.
