“Amazing tapas at Casa Tia!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 June 2014

Fantastic tapas, all freshly made on the premises by Nicky. The Russian Salad just has to be sampled, such a light touch! We selected six dishes between two of us, as a substitute for an evening meal. The plan was to sample more later in the evening but we were truly sated by the delicious and generous portions offered. The decor of Casa Tia almost matches the incredible food and the combined result gives a feeling of great comfort, both culinary and sensory. Raconteur Derek keeps front of house going with verve to match Nicky's kitchen skill, delivering spot-on Margaritas amidst quick-fired puns and witty punchlines.Terrific atmosphere at Casa Tia, a real highlight of my trip. We hope to return next year...and maybe there'll be a pot or two of pineapple mint growing on the terrace, offering an additional olfactory stimulus to the palate ;) Thanks for a couple of great evenings, we'll be back! Therese & Vic xx

“don't know why it's at the top”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 March 2014

Read great reviews of this place, but really don't understand how they are so well rated foodwise.
The place itself is clean with comfy seats, but the "tapas" just didn't do it for us.
Chicken curry was watery .Patatas bravas were like a shop-bought sauce on them.
Meatballs were bland and strange texture.
Waiter was pleasant enough and wine was fairly priced, but nothing that would tempt us back.

“Excellent place to eat and drink”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 November 2013

My Wife and I visited Cala'n Porter in October with two of our friends who frequently stay there having a villa there and they took us to lots of places to eat and drink. They took us to Casa Tia and we loved everything about it. The food, the drinks and the layout were all excellent. Derek and his Wife make you feel so welcome and cannot do enough for you. If you have not tried Tapas before then this is the place to try it. Can't wait to go back next year.
