We visited the Samoa twice for an evening meal during our week long stay in Menorca. Everything about the experience was fantastic. The waiters are welcoming and friendly, and they are really good with the children. The ambience is relaxing and peaceful and the service attentive. The food was really good. We would have liked to have tried the menu of the day for about 16 euros, which is excellent value but our four year old won't sit still long enough for us to stay for three courses!! Highly recommend this place - the washrooms are also really clean.

“Very Average....”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

How this restaurant remains at #2 in rankings is beyond me. First visit was pretty good (we were the only customers), second was not so good, third (not my choice!) was poor. It is a nice, comfortable restaurant, and in a great central location; but the food is incredibly average, and the owner is quite rude. Shame, because the rest of the staff are great and can't do enough for you. Having sampled most the local restaurants, Big Al's, Pito's and Sa Piassa are much better. It is worth a visit, just don't expect too much, it isn't cheap, but very average.

“Best meal in Menorca! ”
Reviewed 30 May 2014 via mobile

We visited Samoa twice during our 10 day holiday in menorca. The first time was brilliant, was so pleased with food, attentive staff & a lovely atmosphere, hence why we came back! The second time all four of us decided to go for the set menu, for only 16 euro we had a starter, main, dessert, half a bottle of wine each and bread, butter & pate whilst we was waiting on starters. You cannot fault it, there was still loads to choose from and everything was cooked just how we ordered. Would definitely visit again! :)

“By Far The Favourite”
Reviewed 27 May 2014 via mobile

We ate at this restaurant several times and really enjoyed it each time. The set menu is exceptional value for money and with plenty of choices. For about 16euros per head you have three courses preceded by a small taster of tapas, always different, always delicious, fresh bread with pate, and the choice of either wine, beer or a soft drink and at the end of the meal you are given a liqueur to finish it all off if you have room. I can thoroughly recommend the black current cheesecake. And all this taken in a very pleasant, very comfortable and very clean atmosphere with charming and attentive waiters. What's not to like!
