Very good course for south of Spain. Prices good and course not busy. Never had to wait at the tee offs. Great half way bar and people are all friendly, not like course here in Toronto.

“Best golf East of Malaga”
Reviewed 29 August 2013 via mobile

I've played all 3 of the courses east of Malaga and this is by far the best. I always dismissed it as the motorway goes right through the middle of the course. However, because the motorway is built on a viaduct it hardly interferes with the golf at all. It's a bit unnerving to have to drive over the motorway between the first and second holes but once you are away from the road, you hard ever hear it. It a cleverly designed course which makes you think. You need to take an iron off several tees rather than just blasting away with a driver. Off the back tees it would be a pretty tough challenge. On the days we played the greens were very slow but very true. When they cut them down for a competition, I'm sure they would play very well. We played in August and at that time of the year they have great deals. By booking online, which is pretty easy, we paid less that E80 for a 2 ball with a buggy which I think represents pretty good value. I wouldn't want to walk it as the distances from green to tee are pretty long. The bar is a bit old fashioned but was full of very friendly locals and the drinks and tapas were very reasonably priced. Give it a try, it's not Valderamma, but then again, it doesn't cost E300 to play it!
