Friendly, very knowledgeable staff. Interesting range of work.
Lovely space, sofas & log burner give the place a cosy, more intimate feel.

Whilst wondering through the town we stumbled across The Congregation thinking it was a church hosting a local craft fair and serving teas and coffees we popped in. To our suprise we found an art gallery and cafe/ restuarant. Stopped for a quick lunch home made soda bread and home soup both were fantastic great coffee /tea and good value. Lovely setting great host and waiter.

Having lunched at The Congregational soon after it opened, we were delighted to discover it is now open on three days each week for evening meals. It has a small but creative menu including vegetarian options.

The cafe has a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. On cooler days there is even a woodburning stove

Seating is cleverly arranged amiong the art work and we decided to buy a painting on display.

Booking in advance for the evenings is probably advisable.
