We spent two days at the Coquetvale in August. We took a 'superior' room which was very large with a spacious bathroom. The hotel is in a quiet location (but convenient for the town) and our room was quiet, despite the fact that the Italian restaurant was very busy in the evenings. We ate there on both evenings and had very enjoyable meals - food good, House Wine fine, ambiance perfectly acceptable and price quite reasonable (compared to what we pay in Hampshire). Staff fine, parking OK and the wife didn't complain about anything - what more can I say - 'you get what its says on the box'.
