Description: "Le Bistrot de Benjamin" Where authenticity rhymes with hospitality. Château de Berne's new Chef Benjamin Collombat is at the helm of our Bistro too! Le Bistrot has maintained all of its former friendly, family-style atmosphere and now offers typical local cuisine reminiscent of French classics. The menu features various new creations and dishes to share, together with our traditional, must-do pizzas garnished with seasonal produce. The indoor lounge set around the fireplace has been extended for the greatest pleasure of our guests, while the outdoor terrace, covered and heated in the chillier months and adorned with parasols in summer, will continue to delight all the family. Our Pastry Chef Laure Platiau offers a palette of sweet gourmet treats to savour throughout the day. Dishes from €12 Open every day from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Lunches served until 2 p.m. NEW: Le Bistrot will be prolonging the pleasure until 10 p.m. in peak season! (From June 15th to September 15th)

Le Jardin de Benjamin is perfect for anyone who loves vegetables, creative presentation and farm to table freshness. I recommend the fixed menu - there are items that taste better than their description that I would not have normally ordered but so glad that I tasted. Every ingredient tasted freshly picked and thoughtfully curated - especially the desserts. Equally as impressive as the quality of ingredients and the skill of the chef, is the ambiance. Dining is on a terrace under the stars.

Exactly what you need on a warm summer evening. The service is amazing, the food is fresh and tasty, the wine is cold! From the moment you step in the doors you are in great hands. On a warm summer evening you will be dinning outside. Plenty if great staff is around you.. offering homemade bread, salt and in-house produced oliveoli. Can highly recommend this place. Not cheap but certainly value for money!

Food didn’t rank on last year. Complacency creeping in? Worst was the continual stink of sewerage during the meal. Watch the wine people selling Les Launes on wine list. They recommend it but don’t tell you it is under common ownership - and it’s pretty over-priced!

Dear Customer,
It is with regret that we take note of your comment and we thank you for taking the time to write it. We are sorry that your experience in our restaurant did not live up to your expectations. We did have plumbing problems that day and we are very sorry. Regarding our recommendations on wines, it is true that we recommend the Château des Launes for its quality but free to choose the wine that suits you best. We also understand that our prices may seem high but we are located in an exceptional place with more high-end services, our restaurant has a Michelin star.
We hope to see you again at the Château de Berne.
Best regards,
Benjamin Collombat,
Chef of restaurants

Nothing to add to all the great comments on the food ,the service and the surroundings, just great
We were however a little shocked that a restaurant of this class allows dogs inside and being fed from the plate sitting on their owners lap
Not the best view sitting just opposite!
