My husband chose the goats cheese and honey salad and I chose the smoked salmon and blinis salad. Wow, what a meal. Truly fantastic....
There were several plats de la jour and the 'carte', so truly a great deal of choice,
The place was spotlessly clean, the welcome warm and friendly, the service was excellent, again nothing too much trouble, and a lovely friendly atmosphere.
Thoroughly recommend it.

Good choice of galettes, crepes and salads. Ate here 3 times during our stay in Guethary and enjoyed each meal very much. Friendly owner and staff and good value for money. Merci!

If you want a light lunch then you can't go wrong with this delightful little place. The range of galettes is so vast that there has to be one to suit everyone's taste buds. It is clean, reasonably priced, good food and friendly staff.

The restaurant is opposite the "fronton " in the main part of Guethary , where all the evening shows , displays and dances take place . The inside area is tiny and in the evenings in good weather the seating expands across the pavements and frontage of the small grocers shop next door.
The menu varies with the addition of a huge selection of crepes at lunchtime only - evenings are from the a la carte and tapas menus and occasional specials
Pricing very reasonable , particularly for Guethary.
We had lightly curried "moules frites" , a cold tahitian style citrus flavoured cod ( very tasty and refreshing ) and a variety of starters to share .Too full for desserts -but a small cafe and glass of patxaran went down easily....
Although definitely the end of season , the restaurant was busy - and perhaps unexpectedly so as the owner and one waitress were run off their feet, but coped all the same.
The owner is now in her fourth year running the business and has had to overcome a poor reputation left by previous owners - We think she has managed very well.

friendly and good value. The staff seem very proud of their small, but cosy restaurant. We have used in previous years
