Just returned after 3 nights at this hotel with husband, son and elderly aunt (who had a single room).
Positives: Staff very helpful and friendly; food very good; housekeeper every day and room kept clean and tidy with fresh towels. Bit skimpy with the loo roll though! Very nice view over the water.
Negatives: When we arrived on Friday night the weather was cold and wet. Heating in the room would not work. Asked a number of times about this but the radiators still did not work. Luckly there was an oil filled radiator in a cupboard, at least that took the cold air out the room. I had to ask for a radiator for my aunt for her room but it was there very quickly. Floor in bedroom was like walking on a boat, very uneven. Bed was quite comfortable but pillows very hard. TV in room was antiquated - just a little portable. Thought it would have been upgraded to a flat screen nowadays! No duvets on beds, spent half the night sorting the sheets and blankets. Again a need to upgrade.
