San Augustinillo is an amazing place! It's not too far away from Mazunte, Zipolite, and Puerto Angel. If you are not into the touristy thing, this place is a must to visit. No marriotts, no lame souveneir gift shops (only beautiful art, trinkets, and delicious pastries and fruit), however, there are also no ATMs or banks, so bring plenty of pesos (even though you hardly need much to have a wonderful time here). Paraiso del Pescador is the only hotel that has AC in town. Only two rooms with AC, but the other rooms are cheaper - if you are on a real tight budget, however i highly recommend the AC. We stayed for 3 nights and I think we paid around $35 USD/night. The room was really big; the bed was sufficiently comfy. Very clean, and an AMAZING view. The hotel is right across the street from the beach, but its on a steep hill producing said amazing views. We had the corner room, so we got beach and sunset views on two sides from the room. Owners also run a restaurant downstairs (very yummy, esp breakfast). Very sweet and very helpful with information. No hot water: my boyfriend never really got used to it, but I found it refreshing in the heat. This is the place in Mexico where we felt the safest walking around at night. Very few people here, but it seems like everyone knows and trusts each other. Beaches VERY secluded at night *wink*
Overall, paraiso del pescador was a fantastic place to stay in this wonderful little village!
