“Cheap but not so cheerful”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 September 2013

Well all I can say is don't expect to much and whatever you do get a safe box. On our 2nd day we came out of our room at around 12 mid day to find the cleaners running around like headless chickens apparently some men where in a room that weren't meant to be. I don't know if anything was stolen why we were there. The staff were ok one really miserable girl working behind the bar but the rest were fine. the food was average but no upset stomachs so all good. The pool was minging you wouldn't want to get any water in your mouth and there was this horrible disgusting thing that kept prancing around off his head on vodka spitting every where annoying people that the staff did nothing about until it was vile and kept doing gay moves and poses and they warned him (whoopee) I would not take my child to this hotel

This hotel was booked for a girly getaway as it was our first time to Ibiza and it fit into our price budget. We arrived Saturday lunch but our room wasn't ready so we were given a key to put our luggage away and to get changed and go around the pool. It is a little out from where the clubs are but only a taxi ride away which is about €10.

Pool area - Could do with an update, needs freshening up with the paint around the edge of the pool and some new sun loungers as they are only plastic ones so break easily. We thought it was a morgue when we got there as there was another 2 people around the pool and no-one to be seen! However, lots of people arrived on the Sunday so it got alot more busier and the banter around the pool was good. We were told that someone had died in the pool in 2010 hence there being a 'Lifeguard' on site - not sure how true this is.

Food - Was lovely, nice choice and variety something even picky eaters would enjoy. There was salad, chips, lasagne, chicken, cheeses, meats, pasta, fruit, yoghurt, puddings, soup, bread rolls aswell as a few more items but it changed daily.

Rooms - we had a 2 rooms and both were a 2 room apartment (in block 3000) which was very spacious for us. The rooms were clean, few ants but nothing major. Beds were very comfy (for the amount of time we slept in them). I wouldn't leave any valuables or money in the room as we (in 1 of the rooms) had our bags gone through our travel documents were all over my bed (which was in a different room to where my bag was) and my underwear had been taken - why I really don't know! My friend had £10 taken out of her purse aswell but when we informed reception they said the last time something had been stolen out of a room was 6 weeks ago but reading the reviews on her told us otherwise. We were offered a safe free of charge but they keep the keys on reception so I was a little wary of this. We all kept our money, phones & passports on us at all times - i even slept with my bag and phone under my pillow just felt like my privacy had been invaded. We met a group of lads who had told us that their neighbour in block 2000 had had their mobile taken.

Service - They say service with a smile is the way to go but there was a very miserable young girl behind the bar but everyone else was very helpful and friendly.

Personally, the only reason I wouldn't come back to this hotel is because it's a little out from the places we went and the fact our stuff had been gone through. But if you keep your stuff on you then your fine.

I have just got back from a week here with my boyfriend, it was absolutely spot on. If you get a transfer bus it drops you off and picks you up right outside the hotel. The staff were very helpful and very friendly at all times, the man who checked us in even moved us to a different room as we were going to be in a block full of groups of young lads - he said we would be better off in a different block which would be quieter because we were a couple, which we really appreciated.

The rooms are spacious with big balconies and are cleaned every morning, unless you don't need it cleaned, in which case there is a sign provided in the room to hang on the door.

We went all inclusive which I would definitely recommend, there are lots of drinks to choose from which you can get whenever you want from 10am to 11pm and the food was lovely. I am a fussy eater but there was a great variety of food that changed everyday; pasta, salad, chips, meat, fish, fruit... there were nachos on one night and wraps another night to make fajitas. There's something for everyone and it was delicious.

There are 2 pools: the main one and a smaller one. This is especially good for those wanting to chill in peace and quiet if the main pool is a bit too noisy. Not that it ever was really, there were no real noise problems for us (apart from the fire alarm going off once).

The hotel has supermarkets right outside and there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants down the road. There is also a little beach just down the road where you can hire sun loungers for the day, and if you want to go into the centre of San Antonio there are boat taxis at this beach that are only 3 euros each and come every half hour. We went to Ibiza mainly to chill out and only have a few drinks each night, and the hotel's location was brilliant for this.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone going to Ibiza. We had a great experience there!

stayed here in the middle of September, hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a nice balcony complete with chairs. our room had 2 hobs to cook food on and a fridge-freezer which was great. The food was relatively good and definitely not as bad as what people made out, there was something different on every night ranging from fajitas to veal stew. the selection of drinks at the bar was great as well, and they had estrella lager on tap. both pool areas were nice with plenty of room. contrary to other reviews nothing was stolen from our room even though we left our phones and money around the room, the only downside is the location of the hotel, but this wasn't a big deal as a taxi to the west end to buy tickets for all the main clubs was only ten euros, wherever you stay in Ibiza you will be spending lots of money on taxis anyway and there is no way around that as the clubs are all very spaced out across the island. all in all a good hotel with fantastic value for money!

This is my second time staying here and I have managed to stay here without loosing anything

It is clean, basic and great value for a cheap base to explore Ibiza

Staff were very friendly, much improved on my last stay and couldn't do enough to help us!!

Don't take iPads..laptops etc you don't need them really... your on holiday!!! and don't leave massive amounts of money in your room!! Someone told us they had 2.5k stolen...why would you leave that in your room!!!??? I don't understand?...I've had a safe both times and it's been untouched

There is a cash point two mins walk up the street, it may cost to take money out bit at a time...but it's better than loosing it all:)

Location is great... Just close enough for the action, but far enough away for a bit of peace

If your looking for luxury...this isn't your place... but a cheap, clean base to rest your head... It's great

Just be sensible and you will be fine

Enjoy Ibiza... I came back two days ago and I'm missing it already :( x

Even after reading the bad reviews we still decided to give this hotel a go! It was cheap and looked cheerful. 9/9/13 - 17/9/13

Reception.....
The staff speak excellent english and were really helpful. Lovely & polite.

Location...
The hotel is situated at the end of 'the strip' as we referred to it. Its right next to the coast and you can see the sea from the restaurant. About 10 minute walk to the sandy beach and 2 minutes walk to the nearest shops, bars and restaurants.

The Rooms.....
We arrived early hours of the morning and paid 10euro to check in to our room early. Upon entering the room we were greeted with a horrible musty damp smell. It was a studio room so all in one and was of a good size (block 2000). The next morning we woke with really dry throats and our clothes smelt of the must so we requested we change room! They changed us that day in to the 3000 block where we were pleasently surprised. It was a one bedroom appartment and was huge! Never stayed in a room so big on all the holidays ive been on! The air con was amaze too.... we kept it on every minute of every day and it was bliss! The rooms were spotlessly clean and towels were changed every day! The noise....... i'll go to on the next bit!

The Noise..... On our first night (in the 2000block) i was kept awake the majority of the night by the people upstairs having a good long bonk! could here everything and it was quite disturbing haha! I think the 2000 block is where all the young party goers are put!
over in block 3000it was a bit more quieter but when people start getting ready to go out all you can hear is music blasting, thudding footsteps on the tiled floors and chairs moving about.Luckily i took ear plugs AND the air con humming drowned the noise out a little but what do you expect?? Its Ibiza!

The pools.....
Not the biggest or cleanest but they were good enough. Theres ALWAYS plenty of sun loungers. First holiday ive been on where no one gets up at 6am to reserve sunbeds!Theres 2 pools, one near the bar which is the larger and deeper pool and then theres a big circle pool only about 1.5ft deep for the kids.

The all inclusive.....
At first i was really pleased that we didnt listen to the bad reports of the food because we didnt have a problem. there was plenty to choose from morning noon and night. Salad bars, deserts and for the fussy eaters theres veg, chips, all kinds of potatos and selections of meats..... HOWEVER after 5 days we did start to get a bit fed up as there wasnt much change.the only think that was changed was the meats and they wasnt the best! BUT it is 2* and you cant expect gormet meals every night.
Couldsnt fault the drinks at all.... all local but they had vodka, whiskey, gin, barcardi, wines, beer. sambucca etc etc.... drink as much as you want. The service staff were lovely, polite and smiley.

THEF...... HERE WE GO!!!!!! When we arrived we met some people who told us a young lad had been robbed on his first day. they took over £2000 from his room. Angrily he aused a riot about it a smashed his room up which resulted to him being deported back to england!! The safes are situated in reeception however there are signs of forced entry so we decided not to use them and to keep our things with us all the time which was a ball ache but it seemed the safest option after hearing all the stories......
I went out one night locally with some people we met by the pool..... and on this night i had my bag stolen from under the table with my Iphone 5 and money and make up etc etc in it. It really spoilt my holiday and i just wanted to go home. I had my suspicions of whom had taken it but there was nothing i could do to prove it..... those people were staying in our hotel..... so i felt quite awkward being there thinking it was them!! (Not the people who i went out with!!). Reported it to the Guardia Civil but nothing has been done and i guess i'll just have to brush it under the table.....

All in all i had a rubbish holiday but it was all down to having my bag stolen. I had no concept of tim and no contact with home. I felt so lost...... However the hotel was brilliant and i would defo reccomend staying there......

Room Tip: Avoid block 2000 AND ground floor rooms
