“Great little cottage.”
Reviewed 3 July 2018 for a stay in June 2018

Ty Isaf is in a central location ideal for exploring north-west Wales. The cottage is lovely and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a great terrace at the rear with lovely views. It was our second stay here and we love it!
Alan is very helpful and friendly. We went for a walk he suggested on the first evening and it was well worth the effort. He also brings cake!

“Comfortable, cozy and full of rustic charm!”
Reviewed 2 July 2018 for a stay in June 2018

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage and can't really fault it. It felt more spacious than it looks in the photos and is extremely well kitted out. The view from the balcony at the back was very beautiful and even with a bit of drizzle it's still a lovely place to hang out. The road out the front is actually pretty quiet and because the cottage is set down low there is really no noise from it to speak of. In fact, the river is noisier, but it's a lovely white noise that sends you to sleep at night! It's a great place to holiday with a dog, and unless they're a determined escapologist the garden is pretty dog safe too. There's plenty to do within a short drive from here so it's a great place to have a base. There was no WIFI but as I got a good phone signal this didn't bother me in the slightest. In summary, thoroughly recommended!

“Relaxing and inspirational”
Reviewed 22 May 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Wow what a view! Alan's cottage has the most wonderful view from a lovely covered outside area and also a garden with a beautiful brook. The house is exceptionally clean and he gave us a warm welcome with locally made cakes and information about the local area. The beds were big and comfy and the house was very warm and relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped, we couldn't fault a thing.
We are hoping to return at another time as we fell in love with this place. The sound of the brook was wonderful. Thank you Alan.

“Lovely cottage”
Reviewed 13 April 2018 for a stay in April 2018

This is a lovely snug, clean cottage and Alan is very welcoming and helpful. Views from the back are beautiful and there is a lot to do in Blaenau and around even with two children in the rain! We would certainly return next time we venture to Snowdonia.
