We stopped here after a long day of driving to and from Wairiki Beach (which was amazing by the way). When we walked in, we stood there for a few minutes while three different employees just passed and said hello, but didn't tell us where to go or wait or what. Just kindof awkward.
I ordered the crispy lemon chicken sandwich, which sounded great. It was terrible. Hard crispy fragments of chicken rolled around the top of a huge bed of weed-like lettuce and super thick and tough to cut bread. One giant strip of bacon. No trace of lemon, or flavor really.
She ordered the linguine. She hates bell peppers, and they weren't in the list of ingredients on the menu, but they were in the pasta, along with every other leftover items they had in the kitchen. It was mishmash of too many ingredients. Spinach, olives with pits, you name it. Too much random stuff. And much of the pasta itself was broken so short you couldn't wrap it or pick it up easily with your fork. Not good.
Since we didn't eat a lot of our entrees, we decided to try a dessert. We picked one off of the menu and waited a long time for someone to come take our order. Nobody came to take our order, or to refill our drinks throughout dinner or check on us as all. Finally we just gave up and left.
