My fiancé and I visited this market last week, top tip parking is at a premium so pack outside and walk in. Bring a bag for all your purchases!

Meats, fish, snails, cheese, nought, fruit/veg, kitchen wear, antiques, plants, deli, and some interesting fashion is just to list a few things on offer!

Worth a visit we came back with some truffle Brie cheese, bread, olive tapenade, artichoke dip and amazing basil pesto from the deli lady yum!

Thank Danielle M

The producers who attend this market are fantastic from local cheese, fruit and veg, meat, to soaps, kitchenware, gifts and clothes it has a LOT to offer, then simply sit in one of the cafes for a coffee, tea or something else! Perfect! Very well known and regarded in the area

Having been to quite a few markets in France (as you do) there is just something special about the Friday market in Riberac. It is one of the bigger around but it is all together in the main central car park. The variety of stalls an produce is quite amazing. On top of that it is surrounded by nice little French bars where you can watch the day unfold as the market winds down. Our favourite is the "Cafe du Palias".

With over two hundred stalls this market makes for a wonderful stroll. There is loads to see and browse through. The food stalls in particular the cheese stalls offer all sorts of wonderful aromas. The meats are excellent. As well. The clothes and leather goods stalls are worth a look see as well. A top tip is to get there early. 8.30 - 9am is recommended. Parking is not too difficult if you are prepared to walk a bit of a distance. Overall one of the better markets to visit.
