“Lovely historic but modern pilgrim's inn in the middle of Cognac”
Reviewed 21 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

We needed a self-catering apartment not too far from Cognac,Angouleme and Futuroscope to ensure everybody's interests were considered.Although all the main Cognac houses were closed, our hosts arranged a distillery trip to a small family run Cognac house which was fantastic. The house was surprisingly warm considering all the stone walls, tastefully decorated by the well travelled owners, spacious and well equipped.Although we only had vineyards for neighbours,we had a car so could go shopping in Cognac.Meals are provided on site if you would rather not cook. There were not many tv channels but there was Wifi. The owners are very nice and both speak good English. My only regret was that we didn't get to use some of the facilities like the tennis courts, pool and sauna because of the weather.
