We reserved one of the twin-rooms and planned to eat in for dinner only on the first night. What a mistake we luckely we're able to correct. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, as was the "after-tasting" with Alan. We will be back to discuss philosophy, geography and drams!

The Old School House in Finsbay was the best B&B we stayed in on our recent Hebridean tour. Set in the stunning Bays region of Harris, this stylish, comfortable house provides luxurious accommodation. Alan welcomed us and was an excellent host cooking a very tasty dinner and the largest and tastiest breakfast to set us on our way. We enjoyed the banter and the geological discussions with Alan. Staying here was like staying with friends.

A fantastic location, amazing hosts who are attentive to your every need. The food is exceptional and is trully locally sorced. It was a delight to stay in such surroundings. If you like good food and lovely people this is the place tro go. Mary

IWe spent a glorious two nights at The Old School House - beautiful, cosy rooms, lovely views, delicious food, such friendly and welcoming owners, delicious food, great value for money. Oh and did I mention the delicious food?! I can firmly say this is the best B&B experience I have ever had. Already planning my next visit!

Alan and Panch have something very special here. Lovely spacious and comfortable rooms with stunning views, very good value for money. Like staying with friends rather than a guest house with knowledgeable and friendly hosts. Home cooked meals are a real feature - vegetables from the garden and locally sourced seafood. Not easy to get to but once there, you won't want to leave!
