This is a site I have been to several years now and we keep coming back for more.

There is a huge variety of accommodation to choose from so do your research well, we have stayed in most types over the years but prefer the new "patio" or "Ty Bihan" for extra space and versatile accommodation.

Over a 2 week period from late June families will not be short of activities to do, excellent indoor/ outdoor pool facilities, rope slides, equestrian activities, football, basketball, trampolines etc it has something for all ages.

Pool area is very good in low season, however very packed in high season.

Staff are all very friendly and provide a good helpful service.

There is a site shop which is very good for a basic range of goods to keep it going.

Unlike some sites this one is a medium size that is not too big or too small, the owners have got the right balance, big sites are often too impersonal and overly busy.

There is a restaurant that provides a takeaway pizza option , though eat in meals are a little basic and it's the one area I would suggest needs to be developed to provide people with more dining options.

You can have drinks and snacks very close to the pool area when you need a break which is nice.

The site is not really that close to the coast, but don't let that put you off, it is set within rolling countryside and some of the emplacements have stunning views of the hillsides, the coast is. It far away, not the best beaches but plenty of water based activities to enjoy.

Baden itself is a pretty town within easy walking distance and has a nice creperie, there is a Carrefour in Baden but if you venture to Arradon a much nicer Super U awaits you !

Enjoy a fabulous time here !

Room Tip: Patio or Ty bihan

Many thanks for your message and for your loyalty! We are glad that you have appreciated your accommodation and all the activities, the pool facilities as well as our services. For sure, the countryside is very nice and there are a lot of water based activities on the beaches and in the Gulf of Morbihan to enjoy. We hope that your testimony will be very helpful to other travelers. Looking forward to welcoming you for your next stay!

We stayed here at the end of August. Lovely campsite with brilliant facilities! The pools are brilliant with plenty slides which our children loved!

The trampolines and bouncy castles kept our children entertained for hours. The restaurant was lovely for snacks and a chill in the day when the sun went in.
We hired bikes for the day and explored the local area which is beautiful. The only downside on the campsite is the big hill you have to walk up if you are positioned at the bottom of it. It was not a problem for us but would be if you had limited mobility.
Overall we loved our stay and would highly recommend!

We stayed in a Bretagne cabin for a week with our 1 and 2 year olds and had a terrific time here. The campsite has great facilities - lovely indoor pool with kids pool and jacuzzi (changing rooms are a bit ordinary) - extensive outdoor pools with slides (it was a bit cold for this when we were there) - 4 (yes 4) bouncy castles inflated all the time, 4 large trampolines (all free) and children's park area. The cabin was lovely, very clean and well kitted out. The beds are comfy enough and there's just room for a cot in the double room. The kitchen is really good (but no oven) and there is a nice deck attached. The 'lounge' area wasn't very comfy but this was minor. It is a nice quiet campsite and it's well landscaped. Baden is a lovely little village and it's well placed to explore the local area and within easy reach of Vannes.

This is a lovely campsite.we stayed in a 2 bed mobile through keycamp.ie.accomodation was very clean and spacious for up to four adults plus children.Stayed in may 2013 weather was great during the day but got very cold at night and the mobile did not hold the heat and only thin sheets provided.overall the campsite was extremely quiet because it was just off season.only people staying at the camp were french tourusts so not alot of interaction unless you have fluent french!
Reception barely spoke any english so again learn french before travelling.
the village of Baden is a 10 minute walk away very cute and small it has a creperie and newsagents, there is a large supermarket "carrefour" just outside the village.
Overall we did enjoy our week in Le Mane Guernehue but next time definitely go in peak season when its warmer and the children for my daughter to play with../she was very bored with us!

We are glad to learn that you have appreciated your stay in our campsite, although it was unfortunately cold last May. We regret that you did not meet English speaking people at the reception, because usually our receptionists do speak English ! You have booked your stay with a Tour Operator which is in charge of your welcoming and of meeting your needs. We hope to see you in summer next time !

A very tidy site in a stunning part of the world. Everything you need is on the site or very close by. The nearest beach is a drive or a bike ride away so dont get upset when you cant walk there. The pools are clean and tidy but blokes must pack their budgie smugglers as shorts are a no no. The area is fairly flat so dont forget your bikes. Seeing the area by bike is fantastic.

This is a lovely campsite with excellent facilities previously mentioned. The bathroom/ shower/ washing up areas are plentiful and cleaned 3 times a day however they are mixed sex which took a bit of getting used to!!

We camped in our own tent for over a week. The kids (8 and 12) had a great time and enjoyed the facilities. They found plenty of friends both English and French and spent most of the time in the pools and the bouncy castles.

We found the restaurant to be reasonably priced and comparable with others outside the site, the food was also good. Staff we encountered were always helpful and friendly and all spoke good English (even though we spoke to them in French!)

Our only gripe was the noise. As mentioned, we were in our own tent and we were pitched quite close to the main block, alongside a road. This was convenient for the facilities during the day but although the site has a 11pm curfew on noise and cars, this wasn't heeded by most.

The bar/night club area is apparently hired out to private parties and on one night we had to suffer a heavy metal party which didn't finish until 5.30am!!! Weekends were also noisy with parties which didn't seem to know/care about the 11pm curfew, this was also coupled with drunk teenagers throwing up everywhere!

We also found there were young couples who enjoyed late night bbqs and screaming fits in the early hours! Luckily our children were exhausted and slept through most noise but we didn't and began to suffer sleep deprivation which spoiled our days.

We did complain about the late night parties and the reception staff's response was 'it was a private party and not our responsibility!'!!

Other reviews don't seem to experience the same problems so I guess as long as you are away from the main block and in a caravan, you'll be fine!

With regards to sights to see - best beach definitely Carnac, shopping in Auray. We followed the markets around which was always a good experience!

Room Tip: Stay away from the main block and avoid weekend all night parties

We stayed here in August and apart from the first three days of rain and a thunderstorm in the early hours...the rest of the holiday weather was lovely and hot. The campsite is very well kept and pretty. The swimming pools are great (not very heated ) as usual in French campsites .We stayed with Matthews, whos caravans in our opinion are in the best spot.Lots of space around them ,no direct caravans infront or behind ,but pay the extra for a Magnum or Lodge ;cause they have a bit more family space inside. The only drawback being that they are at the bottom of the campsite ,so quite a steep hill to the pool and other amenities(great for the buttocks) ,so if you struggle walking beware,However,if like us you thought ..great...eat what you like ...then walk it off then it was great!. There is a zip wire, archery, fishing lake, donkeys, and a horse riding school next to it. We took the children on a pony ride which is led by the parents ...you are on your own ,just following signs, only drawback was that i had a stubborn one who insisted on stopping to eat grass non stop! But the children enjoyed it ! The bar/restaurant served nice food and the staff were pleasant. It is as a previous visitor said a predominantly French campsite,But we quite like that. A visit to nearby Trinite Sur Mare is lovely ,a pretty harbour and nearby Bono very pretty. Overall, a lovely site and very well kept .
