“Great food at Trattoria Caico”
Reviewed 6 July 2010

We ate twice at Trattoria Caico while we were in San Leone. We really enjoyed our food each time - the first time I had the spaghetti with clams and it was excellent...but I thought the spaghetti with mussels was even better! I highly recommend this restaurant. We enjoyed eating outside on the terrace.

“Best food in town”
Reviewed 26 May 2010

The only problem that you may encounter at this place is that you may end up eating more that you had planned. But the cooking is light and sober and you won't regret it.
Marco offers a selection of only fresh fish, the mixed antipasto is a long sequence of tasty dishes, don't miss it. The fried calamari are superb (and I hate fried fish) And the ravioli. And everything. Let Marco drive you in a culinary experience, drink the local wines that he selects with exquisite taste.
The bill won't hurt either.

“Great place to eat”
Reviewed 2 November 2009

We stayed just down the street from the Trattoria and ate there 3 times. We don't normally do that when we're travelling--we like to eat around. It's a neighborhood place; it has a relaxed atmosphere and a friendly owner; on Sunday afternoon it was filled with locals-- families, retirees, and young couples; evenings it seemed to have more tourists. I had the world's best spaghetti and clams. My friends had wonderful swordfish, caponada, penne in a light tomato sauce, antipasti. There's a small selection of dessert pastries.
