We visited San Leone after more than 3 years (and needless to say this town is in urgent need of care and attention) and decided to dine at Al Porticciolo, unfortunately for us it was a horrible experience. We ordered pizzas and pasta dishes, one was spaghetti with Vongole which was tasteless to say the least, the other dish was Spaghetti Al Porticciolo which was supposed to contain a mix of mussels and other shellfish, but the only resemblance of fish was empty shells and not taste, I must add that the pasta was raw, the chef must have dentures and perhaps forgot to put them on that day....
Service was non-existent, our waiter was either seriously disinterested in his job or feeling lackadaisical although he became quite "alive" when we paid our bill and waiting with anticipation his tip, which I am sorry to say he didn't get.
Avoid at all cost this restaurant for the quality of ingredients, poor culinary execution and rude service. This is not a restaurant but a tourist trap.
