Upon entering this divinely, old establishment, it's charm is immediately noticeable. The furniture is old and comfortable. Cold days there's a fire burning in the fireplace so the crackling adds to the atmosphere.
I've been there for lunch and dinner. Lunchtime the menu is simple but good. Usually order the salmon with cream cheese. Reminds me of eating a bagel with salmon and cream in the States.
We recently had dinner there and our waitresses were delightful ladies, dressed businesslike and marvelously chatty with us. We so enjoyed their presence.
The building has a newer section that looks out into a gorgeous garden. Guests and non guests can walk through it.
The building is a marvelous blending of old--dating back to the 1600's till today.
