I don't write reviews, but this operation is so customer orientated that it really deserves recommendation to fellow travellers. We stayed here as a base for a local wedding over a June weekend. We found this establishment to be clean and comfortable with character in abundance. Over the last 8 years it has been lovingly restored to it's former glory. This has the feel of a home not just a place to rest your head. If this wasn’t enough, the welcome we received from our host was truly warm and with great attention to detail from the quince jam and local cheese for breakfast to the very useful local information provided about the surrounding area. Whilst we certainly enjoyed the wedding, Le Clos du Quesney was the icing on the cake for us. We just need an excuse to return. Thank you and well done.

I had the best stay in Le Clos du Quesney. The house was beautiful, my room so comfortable and gracious, even though Pierre told me it was originally the house maids room. Luxurious large bathroom, the enormous bath so welcome as I was cycling. A real find and the best stay of my trip. The breakfast was delicious, home made quince jam, fresh orange juice, delicious croissants, home made yoghurt and caramel. Make sure you climb into the bell tower, and see the fabulous paintings. Thank you Pierre for making me so welcome and for all your commitment to preserving Le Clos, and creating such a divine place to stay.

Pierre has lovingly restored this 250 year old farm house and grounds, and the result is comfortable and stylish. The bedrooms are spacious, clean and beautifully furnished as are the bathrooms. Pierre is an attentive and considerate host and joined us for a glass of his local cider on the evening we arrived. Breakfast was superb with fresh bread, local eggs and even homemade apple cake. This B&B is excellent value, and since breakfast is included a positive bargain @ 85 euro for two.

Eight of us stayed here one night on our cycle tour of Normandy. Pierre was the perfect host in this perfect house, with complimentary local cider and a knowledge of the house's history - the rooms were beautiful and in keeping with the general 18th feel to the house, we had a lovely evening meal (on request) and a brilliant breakfast, all very reasonably priced. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 1st floor really bright and airy, very comfortable beds

We stayed for 5 nights at this beautiful 18th century farmhouse. The owner, Pierre, has refurbished the house and gardens and the room we had was very comfortable, with free fast wifi and a large bathroom. The house is in quiet countryside a few km from Pont Audemer. Breakfast is excellent with fresh local produce and Pierre is extremely friendly and attentive.
