I stayed at this hotel for over 4 weeks whilst travelling and i cannot fault it. From the 1st point of contact at reception when i walked in i had a real good vibe about the place.
I found all the staff to be so friendly and helpful it really made my stay. The location is superb, situated right in the centre of Chaweng and 2 mins walk to the bustling nightlife, shops etc etc. It's off the main road which helps so there's almost no noise at all at night as there's no bars/clubs in the immediate vicinity of the hotel which is great.
For all it's not situated right on the beachfront itself it's about 1 minutes walk max so it's hardly a long trek to get there.
Another surprise for me was that they now have a small pool with jacuzzi and small poolside bar which had only recently opened and was almost brand new. This is great to just stop off and have a cool drink whilst soaking in the peace and tranquility of the surroundings. The staff at the bar were lovely as well , from the aptly named "Beer" serving me beer, Peung and the gorgeous Som!!! I spent many funny times here having the most confusing conversations what with my knowledge of Thai almost non-existant and my Scottish brand of English made for many confusing but hilarious conversations over the days but it was all good fun though.
Overall i couldn't fault the place at all and from what i could gather from other guests staying there was that they had very much the same opinion as myself. I loved it so much i'm heading back to stay there again in April!!

I chose the Evergreen as we wanted somewhere cheap, but close to Chaweng beach and all the bars/nightlife. We stayed in a superior villa for about 25 pounds total per night.

The room had modern decor and was extremely clean. The air conditioning worked and there was plenty of hot water although it was tricky to understand how to set the shower up at first ( we asked for help). There is a window from bathroom to bedroom although you can put the blind down for privacy!

The room had a tv and tea/coffee making facilities as well as two complimentary bottles of drinking water per day. There was also an electronic safe in the wardrobe.

Depending on which bungalow you get, the beach is a 1-3 minute walk away through a leafy garden and another hotel property. A potential downside is that the hotel does not have its own loungers/chairs on the beach, but guests can use the chairs at another resort, although we never bothered.

The main street with bars and restaurants is 2 mins away in the other direction! Despite this, our room was quiet, because the resort is set far back enough from the road. Apparently the resort is in the main flight path of planes coming in/out of Koh Samui airport but in 4 days I only heard the planes twice.

There is no breakfast at the hotel but given the location you did not have to go far at all to find some.

The staff was friendly, polite and helpful in booking trips. We got some discounts by booking trips through them.

Overall, it is no frills accomodation in a great location. I would be happy to stay here again, and even though basic, it was the nicest room we stayed in during our 2 week visit to Thailand.
