“You must give this a go!”
Reviewed 10 April 2014

Most unexpectedly, we had the most fun here in Samui! My partner and I are no Gordon Ramsays but we managed to follow the straightforward instructions from our helpful instructor. We could hardly believe our end product would taste so good (I would dare say even better than some of the Thai food we have got back home!) Plenty of food to go around and SITCA encourages customers to invite people over to share the love which we think is a brilliant idea! Definitely value for money!

“true professionals”
Reviewed 23 March 2014

It was an honor to learn several dishes in the company of true professionals. While we were there, a camera crew was filming the executive chef and his staff. There is a reason this is at the top of the activities list.

“Great way to spend an afternoon in Samui”
Reviewed 18 March 2014

We booked and pre-paid for a cooking class for my wife and I, with SITCA, during our trip to Koh Samui. Emails were promptly answered during the enquiry, booking and payment stages. We used PayPal to pay. The lesson was given by a very entertaining lady called Pamlik, with two very attentive assistants. Everything went smoothly. We learned lots of very interesting facts and techniques regarding Thai ingredients and cooking. At the end of the lesson, we had 3 delicious meals to eat. Please note that you can bring friends along afterwards to enjoy the fruits of your labour. Something that we did not know until after we arrived at Sitca. If you like cooking, then this is a great way to spend an afternoon.

Reviewed 14 March 2014 via mobile

Very professional cooking class in samui, chef teach us with patient, and he made funny joke during class, such a nice atmosphere.2250b per head, we will learn 3 course. Remember go there with empty stomach, coz the portion is enough for 2 person.

“AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!”
Reviewed 8 March 2014

Each visit to Thailand for the past 4 years I’ve wanted to do a “Thai Cooking” class. I’m so pleased that this was my first experience, and not sure if others can beat this one! Quite pricy initially (BHT2250 per person); but worth every cent! Choose the day & time (twice per day) according to what Thai food you enjoy and want to learn to cook. We made our choice because we wanted to learn how to make Tom Yum Goon/Koong (spicy fish soup). Our class had around 16 people made up of very many nationalities; with whom we managed to chat to, interact and share this special experience. Our chef was great in explaining Thai ingredients and the way to cut, prepare & cook them. A variety of “cool refreshments” served during the course. Easy to follow stages from “show & tell”, to “how to prep & cut”, cooking and finally eating the dishes you have prepared. Loved the idea that each participant could invite a guest to join you towards the end of the course to share the dishes you have cooked. We invited a Norwegian couple we met at our hotel & this became a very special occasion for us all. Taking the initial cost of the “class” + the experience + substantial & delicious lunch for 4 people ….I would do this all over again!
