We asked our hotel, The Tongsai Bay, in Koh Samui, was there anywhere we could arrange for a private table on the sand and they gratefully gave us the phone number of Eat Sense. One day latter, we arrived to a gorgeous setting of a table on the sand out in front of the regular restaurant, The table was set with crystal and china, and tons of candles! Large candles surrounded the table. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing!! The owner is so very proud of his restaurant, and thrilled to make certain our dinner was fabulous!! This was our highlight in Samui.

Saw the chefs special and decided to have dinner there.
The prawns were not as per the menu.
My husband ordered a beef dish with oyster sauce and it tasted like soap.

The menu prices are deceiving, when we received the bill there were additional charges the VAT and the 10% surcharge.

Would not reccommend

Had lunch there today. Nothing amazing about this place. The service was average. The food was ok... But portions were small and it was very slow. Of course, insanely over priced. You can get much better tasting Thai food for 1/10 the price in any street restaurant.

I went to this restaurant 8 years ago it was great. I came back to Samui and wanted to have nice dinner on the beach again. I was disappointed because food was plain and very expensive. This restaurant is nice atmosphere, nice staffs.

If you are a day visitor here you are expected to spend minimum 300THB p.p. so we spent the whole day on the most comfy sun loungers on the beach, the service only starts at 11a.m and from then on we were very well looked after, fab fresh juices, ice cold beers on ice from very friendly staff. For lunch two fried chicken rice were boring and one wrong order - beef burger ok, my grilled chicken burger was tasteless with dreadful fries - I'll stick to local food!!
